Tommy Boyle Broken Hero Part TWO

Part Two of the Tommy Boyle story takes place from the start of World War One in August 1914 where professional football is suspended and Boyle becomes Bombardier Boyle of the Royal Artillery. He is wounded in the leg in France at Passchendaele but recovers his fitness and goes on to captain Burnley to the League Championship Title in 1921. Then less than five years after his brilliant football career comes to an end Tommy Boyle end up in Whittingham, Englands largest mental institute. How did he get there is told in part two of Tommy Boyle - Broken Hero.
