  • @KanjoosLahookvinhaakvinhookvin

  • @hotglassfilms
    @hotglassfilms Před 3 lety +1

    David, do you think egg white is okay, especially with the covid issues, and temperature and if so, how do you cut the bacteria, would I mostly just dry shake it? I'm going to try this with honey, as we don't have maple. or even our homemade ginger syrup.

    • @boozeontherocks
      @boozeontherocks  Před 3 lety +1

      The egg should be no issues for covid. The alcohol actually cooks the egg while its being emulsified.and this will happen during the drry shake process. However if you are unsure about the egg white you can use the juice from a can of chick peas aka aquafaba it will doe the exact same thing and there will be no difference in taste. The honey may overpower the taste a little bit so try it first with .25 oz/15 ml and then adjust accordingly to your tastes. please let me know how it turns out for you.

      If you are looking substitution a sweetener then you can use some agave syrup. Or simple syrup. But you will have to adjust it to get something you like.

  • @Tiki-doll
    @Tiki-doll Před 3 lety +1

    So I’m thinking of making this but with Irish Whiskey instead of bourbon. What changes would you make to rebalance the drink?

    • @boozeontherocks
      @boozeontherocks  Před 3 lety +1

      Irish whiskey is sweeter and more floral. You can adjust these to your liking. And it will depend on the Irish Whiskey that you use. Try.75 oz/22.5 Lemon juice., and .3 oz/10 ml maple syrup. Its easier to adjust the sweetness than the sour part. Or start with it as it is and work your way back. It will be good either way.
