I really admire how you emphasize the importance of the tools making more production goals possible for smaller crews with tighter budgets. Your cable work is very inspiring, I would love to have you work on a project or two here in the USA so I could see you in action on a narrative film or sports documentary. I think your approach would add positive value to a production.
Robert, you have no idea how good it is to hear that !!! As soon as I visit the USA I will contact you for some project !!! I promise💪
@@BestboyAdam what is the silver rod price inbetween the lense and lense support?
Wow. Have watched every single clip I can find on this camera while trying to decide whether to purchase and I can safely say that outside of just one or two of the technical specs videos, this one is all I would've needed. Thank you for all your time and effort in putting this together!
I also have watched every single clip I can find on this camera and I am also not buying it. Though I simply cant afford it at all, lol. And I also dont even know how to shoot.
@@naneri haha! Well I’m actually leaning the other way but I also film stuff professionally - but it’s amazing how some technology is just so interesting that people want to know more!
MoonlightSocial thank you !!!! your feedback made my day 💪
As always you never cease to amaze, thank you for ever single video you put out; always top notch quality!
thank you Buddy 💪
You always go above and beyond. Love the care you put into your videos.
great to hear that 💪 thank you Squidward
Wow .. seriously, I’ve seen almost all the Ronin 4 D breakdown from the CZcams big shots, to help my debate on getting this, and seriously, your breakdown is hands down the best and most thorough. It definitely helped me make my conclusion. In return, I subscribed. Thank you
Incredbile overview of the 4d system. Worth every minute of my time. I appreciate you for doing this and I have subscribed and will continue to watch what comes next.
💪so nice to hear that Steve !!
absolutely great video! And the shots you took along with the locations are perfect for what you were trying to explain. Really glad i have found your channel.
Thank you I.M.A
Thank you for this video. After many DJI 4D videos this has been such a refreshing and interesting video. Thank you!
I am so incredibly excited about this camera. Thank you for the review.
We’ll done! Really appreciate the time you took to make such an informative, honest and entertaining video!!! 👌🏼😉
thank you Enrique 💪
Thanks for the video and taking your time to do it highly appreciated 👍 🙏.....I know these thing takes lots of time.
Best video overall on the DJI Ronin 4D.
The shots at the stadium are mind blowing.
Fantastic video! Thank you! You answered the question on who this camera is for!
Thanks, as always, terrific info and analysis !
Not gonna lie. This channel and Caleb's channel (DSLR video shooter) are the only sources that make cameras exciting now. The tests, possibilities being explored, ideas for improving and updating; you guys really show off new filmmaking tech. Other channels feel like cut and paste announcements and honestly, it's getting annoying when I get 10 notifications from 10 CZcamsrs about the same camera and all saying the same thing or showing up in each others' videos. Thanks for truly standing out.
AAron , how good to read such a comment, that's what it's all about 💪
Thank you for being so detailed!
Once again, great content.
Really liked this video. The D4 is my first cinema grade camera and Ive been shocked at how easy it is to use. I have a s5ii and with these two I feel I have so many options. Looking forward to more videos.
amazing stuffff! thanks for the video!
Another masterpiece, and it include everything that we want to know. thanks
My pleasure DigitalFoto💪
The best review about Ronin 4d I've seen. Very interesting to see your modification of Falcon.
НА ПУТИ В ГОЛЛИВУД thank you 💪
Always extremely interesting.
Thank you for making these!
thank you Gregor !!
Adam, you have some of the best film/video production related videos on CZcams.
Unbelievable value and quality! The Footage at 14:20 is just incredible btw. Subbed and can't wait for more videos from you!
Matt Thank you !!
This is excellent, thank you!
Thanks very much. Great video too.
prob the best video ive seen so far for non standard uses and out of the box ideas . not the out of the box operation
happy to hear that !!!💪
Very good video. Amazing attention to detail and quality.
This must have taken forever to shoot and edit together. Amazing job !
Thanks for this video 🌺👍
This is a great video! Thanks so much.
You know the mark of a professional when you see that crew member caring for the preservation of the equipment on set - ie : Covering the entire rig & Cam with a sleeve in bad weather for a car shoot segment. So, so many YT channels I’ve seen go onto salt lakes, rain @ night, dirt roads, snow .. .you name it all rigged to the vehicle & NO cover, stones, debris on the road - all these things can hit the camera & lens & cause damage to gear. I see it all the time & yours is the first instance where I’ve seen someone actually cover the entire rig. 💪🏼💪🏼👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏼💪🏼🎥🎥 Professional 💪🏼💪🏼👍🏻
Thank you 💪
Exactly. This is why I never rent out my gear.
Love the little dolly car! I guess you can be very innovative with this camera! I want one! As well as the tilta float! Thanks, man, for all the info!
What a great review! Hoping to get this camera soon :)
Great Review. Thanks a lot. 👍🏼
Wow...another brilliant video again...Hats off
thank you Hafiz
With the big lens it looks kinda silly but you've actually shown me it's feasible to use this as intended but so much more.
Phillip Blooms video was great but this video shows its more capable than I first thought!
Great video 👍🏾👍🏾
IMCE thank you, great to hear that !!💪
Czsec! Great video and thanks for creating it. Would love to see more alternative lens options and how they look on the camera.
Peter, I'll try to make a few more💪
Excellent! 👏🏾👍🏾🙏🏾
So many possibilities, DJI should hire you to shoot an advert with this cam. Great work!
As always - interesting and so damn cool!
Thank you 😀
Big shout out for such a hard working man
thanks, man! this is so helpful! great work!
Thank you Alex
Awesome!
There's a lot of the same old thing on CZcams. You are very different and it's great. Good work bud!!
thank you Scottie, happy to hear that 💪
That was inspiring thank you.
It's an amazing piece of technology, great review bro :)

DJI should've sponsored this video, this was awesome!
Amazing brother

Thank You Abubakar Glad to hear that !!!
Beautifully designed camera, to operate this I have to go to school to operate it. Keep up the good work.
i have watched this at least 8 times over the years
Good to see you back Adam! Those adorable kids of yours are growing up fast! Also, 8:46 - you are slowly becoming Batman haha
Anther, is exactly as you say :) the kids are growing and I'm transforming into the Batman. 😀
Also, I’d love it if DJI came out with a mini version of the 4D, perhaps using the Mavic 3 camera.
You said it all… 🎥💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🌲have a great Christmas & safe travels where ever your creativity takes you.
Thank you DARK KNIGHT and Merry Christmas to you 💪
It is a fantastic idea to photography thanks to watch...
Great video, like always
like always Thank you !!!😀
this how professionals make reviews. thanks
Your videos are really helpful!!!
glad to hear that !!💪
Excelent vídeo, and the AMG GT footage is sweet 👌👌🔥🔥
thank you 💪
I love this camera. Hoping to get it next year
💪
Good shit brother!
Really happy to see the DZO pictor on their mounted to the 4D! 🤗 I have that lens and the Sirui M43 50mm f1.8
It almost becomes a bit too heavy for handheld when you chuck on zoom cine primes. I think DJI 4D works better for prime lenses to make the centre of gravity far easier to handle when holding it with both hands close to your chest, than have a 1.5KG zoom prime that makes it front end heavy.
Thankyou for the great advice, and I will most likely stick with my Steadicam rig for now, but this is definitely looks better that using the Ronin 2, due to it's portability and size factor.
Great vid Adam 🤙
Thank You Jake !!
Happy New Year Adam..
Amazing
I have used the Ronin 4D now for a couple of shoots. It is a brilliant system, especially with the flex tool. There are some drawbacks concerning certain issues with frame rate vs. specs and monitoring modes, but overall it is the way of the future. I am looking forward to an improved updated version in the near future hopefully. As far as I hear from my rentals, the thing takes up momentum and gets hired more and more. Once DPs of features have realized, that they can save a hell of a lot of time and money and get much more flexibiltiy, I guess ARRI and RED will be history.
Sorry if im repeating any previous comments.... Tilta have just released a tactical top handle for this with multiple mounting options. This will allow you to mount things like the easyrig eye screw and Tilta hydra kit etc. They have also released a swivel universal baseplate to attach to the Tilta Float arm.
Valuable content. My only hesitation is matching footage with Red cameras. Definitely need to do more test with that. Always educational, thank you.
It has internal ProRes RAW. Matching should be possible.
I'm definitely planning on it. Thank you Dillon 💪
Thanks for this review, the 4D mk2 is what I’m waiting for. :) I’ve built a mini trinity based on your design, thanks! around $800 (galaxy+Redking+crane2s on sale) thank you! Any ideas on getting a pole that will retract like a super crane? Perhaps with a moving counterweight that offsets the balance (extends as pole retracts and vise versa). For a builder like you- No problem! :D see you in the Next video
Fantastic video!!
Thank You !!💪
*Great shots. Thank you for this review. I think I want one of these, but I will wait for the 8K version to be available. I would also hope there will be more 3rd party accessories available for the Ronin 4D in time. I would like to see an option for higher capacity batteries, or a V mount adaptor plate to use Anton Bauer batts. I am also concerned about using the built in audio on the Ronin for one man doco run and gun situations. I understand a future rear adaptor plate is coming which allows for ballanced XLR audio inputs to be used (??) I would welcome this. I wonder if DJI will make any future modifications to the 4th axis support arm and gymbal assembly to allow for heavier PL mount cine lenses to be used ? It looks like a real wonder contraption to me. 👀👀👀. I would like see more codecs added to the 4D, such as HEVC H.265 in 10 and 12 bit encoding, and maybe even BRAW, but we're losing Prores RAW ? This is too bad if true. ProRes RAW makes post workflow an easier option for higher end Cinema shoots, as will the option for 8K.*
Great video!
greetings from Uruguay!😃
Thank you Flavio !!! great to see you !!
Can't wait to see this system in a free fall and see if it can focus on the subject at that velocity
What do you mean by free fall Richard?
Actually, when I first saw this camera, I thought about you (because of all the interesting mods you use to show on your channel).
klasa! Like always :)
dzięki !!! :) 💪
*Wow💖💖💖*
Hi Adam, I really love your content. Great reviews and appreciate all the videos you have made so far.
I have a quick question about the Ronin 4D and a particular lens.
Any chance you have a Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 laying around you could mount to your Ronin 4D.
The lens is listed as a compatible lens. but I'm not sure how a APS-C lens would perform on the Ronin 4D's full frame sensor. Does the E Mount to DL mount adapter change the lens to a full frame without vignetting?
Thank you!
Those car shots made me drool.
great!!
yes yes perfect summary from professional pov, i agree wholly. it should be go to broadcast/low to mid budget doc camera from now on...
exactly Patrick
Great video!
thx💪
bam, another masterpiece
thank you Vincent 😀
Epic video
thx 💪👍👌
I'm watching this video and I see that you bought the Thanos Pro X rig for your set up. Awesome! I just got my Thanos Pro X and I also noticed you put a glidecam head on the bottom to counter balance it easier like on your DIY version. My Crane 3s rolls to the side when I let go so this would actually solve that!
yes exactly :) I had to use thanos because my set with Pictor zoms is already too heavy for Float system (about 12 kg)
@@BestboyAdam Makes sense. I just need to fix my roll problem.
A really interesting filming equipment. DJI got it right with this one!
ooo yeah 💪
I'm not willing to buy Ronin 4D or can afford it ;). Already seen reviews you recommended, but yours is on a different level, cause it shows practical use of this camera. You should have already 2.25m subscribers ... the best review of this camera. I cannot imagine better one.
you made my day JoATTech thank you, so happy to hear that !!💪
Amazing video man... I'm so in love with this camera lately.
What is your experience with the rolling shutter?
Super 👍
It's a very unique system. And I am sure that just by offering a product, DJI will force your favourite camera manufacturer to put out a competing product, so it's a win-win. But I also feel that a lot of people who probably don't need the features will buy it, not have a reference to compare against, and then feel disappointed with DJI.
Hey Adam,
Thanks for all of the insight. I'm loving my 4D, and as I look to get more dynamic shots I'm realizing that it's the perfect camera for, like you said, pushing the limits. When it comes to the handle, what nato rail clamps do you use? The two square ones that are graphite colored. I can't seem to find them anywhere.
Thanks again!
Hello sir. Like many other I would like to thank you for the time, effort and professionalism you put in these videos. I make it mandatory for all the ACs and grip I work with to watch your channel :) Great solutions when you want to pull big shots with a somewhat limited budget. Regarding the 4d I have a question : I’m using as well a set of LeicaR lenses for all of my gimbal work and was wondering if, according to your experience, and after more use, you can confirm that most of those lenses did balance and behave perfectly on the 4d ? Did you have to use any counter weight ? My set consist of a 19mm V2, 24mm, 28 V2, 35/50/80 summilux… I would hate to have to buy new lenses let alone find a kit that cover that range with modern lenses. Thank you to take the time to answer. Cheers. Nicos.
You are so amazing 🤝
thanks 💪
Take it to the limit!
can you show or talk more about how well it works with the easyrig ?
Thanks, Great video
Hi Adam - great video, very inspiring! Would you mind telling me which size Tenba bag you're using to pack the camera in at 7:13?
