I don't even want to setup a rig like this but appreciate the extreme high quality information here. Subscribed!
thx man !!
CZcams Algorithm! You finally got me some quality Content!!
thanks a lot !!
Wow, this is really a very well done design.
I have copied the shopping list right away.
Thanks for the very informative and especially high quality video.
how did it turn out ?
THIS IS EVERYTHING I NEED !!!! this is gold ! this is gold!
Beautiful footage. I don’t see why this won’t be used by many budget filmmakers and videographers out there. Great video!
thx bro !!
I built something similar (without the bottom battery for balance) using the Zhyun Weebil with the Davin Glidecam. What I found was that while the up-down motion is reduced it wasn't completely removed.
@@poman911 Definitely, but reduced is better than glaring. At this price point we get what we pay for I guess haha
would you go with that setup? Or would you now prefer Easyrig + rs2 ring setup? thnks
@@OUCGN For longer shoots, the Easyrig I would say. But for scenes that ask for more precise movements and shots, I would get this combo. I really haven't tried either, as I have just the RS2.
Dude, you just started making videos for your channel and this is the kind of content you’re putting out the gate? Sir, you’re going places. Consider me subscribed!
good to hear that Juanito :) thanks a lot !!!!

thank a lot Edgarin !!
Thanks for taking the time to put this together and share with the community, it's much appreicated!
my pleasure man :)
This is exactly what I was looking for to upgrade my rig. Well done!
good to hear that !!
dude , who are you? some freaking mcgyver...you are awesome!!!!
hahaha nice to hear that :)
Hahaha true and this 'super easy' comment after another step, whej you are lost 10 steps before in this tutorial xD
His is da vidgyver.
By far my favorite version of this rig, I’ve seen it referred as the minity as in mini trinity but the control and power options you get from this rig are amazing! Def subscribed!
thx Antonio :)
Absolutely wonderful and inventive. I need to watch this video a few more times just to absorb the process of making one myself. Fantastic camera work.
This whole endeavor was sheer genius. THANK YOU for taking the time and walking us through your whole geeky process.
Such good information! Thank you for being so detailed in your build. I have wanted to build a rig like this for a while and knew that it would be possible to DIY it, but was extremely nervous until now! Thank you again!
god to hear that :)
This was incredible! One of the filmmaking videos I have ever seen on youtube. So well done!!
Daniel, sooo goood to hear that man !!!🙏
Thank you for making this - I’ve been eagerly awaiting the Tilta Float system but you’ve created something really special here - very approachable as a DIY and great information. Cheers!
J.A thank you :)
this is the video i was looking for last 6 months
soo good to hear that Dhruv !!!!
You went full dork! Looks amazing.
This is genius! Thanks for sharing! You’ve unlocked a whole new level of cinematic movement for people who may not have found it.
great to hear it !!!
Being able to achieve this rig at this price point is close to unbelievable!
I'm blown away! Thank you. Sourcing gear now to build one myself, and I must say this is the greatest video on CZcams in this category!
@Evanderj Benedict?

Incredible. Best Arri DIY I’ve seen! Would love to connect with you to learn more!
Marlo, thanks a lot :) write if you need anything !!
WOW, this Setup!!! i love it!!!
Getting chills just watching you assemble the whole thing I'll be saving up for this
What a great job!!! Well done, I couldn't believe how smooth the walking and running shots are with no post stabilisation.
I will have both steadicam and ronin shortly so I just need the belt and arm! I just might give it a try, thank you
This is fantastic. Thank you VERY much for this post. Much appreciated!
My pleasure Tom :)
This is a secret weapon. Well done!
This channel is going to blow up. Amazing.
good to hear that :) thank you !!
Great video! 👍🏽
Your ability to put things together and make them work are OUT OF THIS WORLD! 🌎 😳
Keep up the great work! 💪🏾 💪🏾 🔥 🔥
Two years later, do you still use this?
Man you are the modern Davinci 👍💪😂 great video, loved this video!
thanks a lot, nice to hear that !!!! :)
@@eagertosucceed6004 yeah, but his technical skill is amazing in my opinion.
You've inspired me to pull my old steady cam rig out of storage and build this! Great video thank you.
Damn. Another awesome video. I think I just found a gem of a channel.
Legend!
This is *really amazing.* I have a Glidecam sitting around - _what am I waiting for?!_
go get it Michael !! :)
Wow! This setup is awesome. Even though I don't have a use case, I'm seriously considering building this rig for my RS2. Thanks for the much-needed kick in the ass to jump-start my dwindling creativity of recent.
Nice work! Explained & shot well & a most useful 'trinity' rig!
Been wanting to do this for a while, got the vest and flycam but don't have the ronin, my next purchase is the pocket 6k so it will have to wait but awesome work
hey Byron where did you buy the flycam arm?
@@justMaddin bought it off amazon a little while back. Just checked was going to get the link buy currently unavailable
This is the most cleanest and easy setup 👌🏾💪🏾 I've seen on the internet 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾...I'll like to try this with my Crane 3 Lab is it possible???
thanks a lot Man !! with the crane 3 lab, of course !!
What a great set up ! I was already thinking about buying the tilta float system. But you made me rethink
Konstantin :) good to hear it but I'm sure tilta is truly awesome
Speechless.. I've been watching video production tutorials for a few years now. This is the first time I have made a comment. Everything about your video is fantastic! I even like your walking boots bro!
Adam this is amazing thanks for sharing! Was really interested in the power option - my biggest frustration is the loss of the power outputs on the original ronin-s that I used to power the bmpcc4k. Would you mind sharing a little on how exactly you modified the baseplate in order to get that output?!
I'm wondering the same thing, I was thinking on the meantime getting a dtap splitter to be mounted on the top, connected down with a dtap extension, then simply going dtap to universal ronin plate, and a dtap to bmpcc6k cable, but i'm not very sure if it can handle it
still trying to figure this out as well.
Hi Adam, where did you get de power cable? (I've been looking in many web stores and I can't find it)
Did you ever find one?
On Aliexpress they have a 6 pin to d tap ;)
8:09 yes!! Looks so much better am then those other ridiculous bulky rig. Well done.
You are the king of stabilization dude
Awesome breakdown! How would you go about installing a monitor on this set up?
Hi many thanks !!!!
no problem with the monitor, you can put it directly on the hand grip or on a spring arm. Honestly, I forgot to mention it in the video :)
@@BestboyAdam That was my only concern too.
It was the only thing missing
That's one off my questions. 👍👍👍👍👍
Признайся, ты русский)))

I’ve been looking at your videos, I’m finishing up my second Steadicam, especially this video has been very helpful, thanks,
Loved the effort and the end up result with this budget . Good job
thx :)
One of the best informative video I've ever seen on this topic till date, thanks for the youtube algorithm 😂😂😂
Such a quality video! And great build/problem solving with all the adapters and connectors
thank you !!!
This is the Exact Solution I was looking for Thank you for all the research and most of all sharing.
This is so good! You deserve a million views
Adam this is amazing seriously wow! I can’t wait to make one for my RS2 now
Many thanks it’s exactly what I am looking for my aero30 ! Thanks a lot and by the way, nice channel !
I've just started my camera stabilization journey! I'm working on a version like this only for non-action shots. Quick setups for interviews and the like. Thanks for eliminating half of my questions!!
Cheers!
That's very impressive thanks for the budget options, I wish I had space where to store all this
Oh. I’ve been thinking about this! Thank you for this amazing breakdown. I want to make it!
Thank you sir! I am so happy I chanced upon and watched your video twice end to end. 👍🏼
Awesone video. I've built something similar with the Proaim Vest and stabilizer, putting the RS2 on top of it. Your comment about propper balancing the whole set on a pole before shooting is absolutely true. Anyay, starting with this setup is not as easy as anticipated - there is a steep learning curve, and I also got much attracted by using it without the RS2, i.e. like a true steadicam.
The movements you can create with this combination are awesome - no need anymore for a slider or so.
I was so excited because I thought you were running the new Tilta support system! Love what you've put together though, really nice work.
thx :)
Best combo, a Steadicam with a gimbal stabilizer. Very cool stuff, thanks for sharing!
Holy cow, this is amazing. I have a steadicam aero 30 but your setup loops better.
The range you can get on push in and outs, really useful.
Dude, you are an absolute legend! This is amazing!
thank you Dario :)
Great video. I feel like alot of people starting with a gimbal and have no understanding of a true steadicam/glidecam movement and have never experienced "floating". Awesome setup.
exactly Ricky !! Thank a lot man
Oh man, It's movement is so fluid it just looks like so much fun just to wear. Very nice job! I think this is going to help a lot of those (like me) who cant afford to shell 6-10k
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing it! You rock!🤘
Wow beautifully done and filmed. I wish to make one setup like this one! Thank you for the video great content!!
my pleasure Aby :)
This is AMAZING!!! Great work man!!!
Thank you Adam. This was extremely useful in my journey. Bless you.
Danial My pleasure !! :)
Very complete and precise video, If only I had found it before buying my Steadimate S
Great project ! Keep building and sharing amazing ideas !
thx :)
That’s the greatest Thing I’ve seen today . Thank you so much for sharing. That’s exactly what I need

...howdy from Nashville Tennessee...a great and informative video. 2:12 brings back a childhood pbs nothing television memory, the game is which I still cannot recall. But wow! You brought something back! Thanks. I'm trying this with my weebill s type gimbal and Devin Graham type stabiliser...

Yesterday i was thinking about something like this but i'm nowhere near to pull off what you did. Beautiful work man!
Thanks for this!!! Will be looking to introduce such steady shots into my productions this year. How much did it cost in total?
TMC, 350 without battery,
respect from italy! I'm a steadicam and ronin 2 op, i've worked few times with this couple of big stuffs and your option, for, me, is cheap, light, useful and elegant
That’s insane!! I always loved using my ronin with a monopod and feel I have the power but this is really next level of magic! I’m definitely gonna buy all the things in your list and try set this up! Great content like and subscribed immediately 🤗
thx bro !!!
Smooth like butter.
Sir, You are amazing., A truly respect from my heart, You just did a great job for filming !
Adam great work. That unit is AWESOME!
thx man !!!
