- Many of you have asked what I think about the TILTA FLOAT system so here is my first review I hope it will be helpful.
What's great about that? you can use system float system not only with DJI RS2 but also with other gimbals, even with dji ronin 2 pro !!!
I think that TILTA FLOAT has a good chance to become the most universal support system for all gimbals.

Hope tilta hires this man for the development team
I guess Tilta delayed the release of their Float and Hydra mount after watching his videos. They surely took notes and made improvements based on his work 😆
He has an eye for detail if they don't give him a job i hope he can build his version i will buy
That would make a lot of sense!! He did great
He could be a freelance design consultant...could make a lot of $$ with his knowledge, insight, and sheer inventiveness
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for making this!
This guy is amazing and Tilta as a society should listen to his voice and tips to make this float even more efficient than how it is!!
Shoulder straps for this rig?
When will be available? At this stage still pre order
FINALLY someone with a hands-on review!
My thoughts exactly.
@@bcnissley1 do you think these are ever going to ship? Im thinking about purchasing
@@BeachGalloway Well, the Tilta website says they're backordered with a 6-8 week ship time, but youtube is devoid of pretty much any hands-on content about them, except this video, so I don't think anyone's even gotten one. And you know youtube: if it exists there's 1000s of videos about it. I'm just worried they're gonna jack the price even further up.
@@bcnissley1 I fear that you’re right. I’m gonna have to probably buy now even without information other than this video on the internet in fear that they’ll jack the prices or I’ll have to wait 8-12 weeks
I love how you're able to see a slight flaw with a product, & rather then seeing it as a show stopper issue. You find a solution or an improvement that resolves it. This show years of field knowledge at work to get the shot in the can. Well done.
This is a real pro who knows his stuff more than his life, I guess. And Tilta team should consider his opinion in order to develop a Tilta Float 2.0
Poor Man's Trinity Rig. I love it🙌🏾
Poverty drives creativity! I love it too!
your definition of poor and my definition of poor are two different things 😂 I still can't afford anything in this video
💪
@@byronbrush9030 You will one day. Stay working hard!
not so poor man's*
the only tilta float reviewer i gonna accept
Great review, thanks! I love your approach on modding everything without makin a big fuzz about it. You make it work in a straight line approach - like a pro does
thank you Christian !!!! 💪💪💪
Jaram się jak kościoły w Norwegii !!!!! Jesteś świetny
Dude thank you for posting this, Ive been looking for info on this system everywhere!
Amazing stuff, can't wait for my RS2 to finally arrive. Tilta Float is definitely on my radar now, thanks!
I have my float but I can;t find the adapter for the tripod mount you used @6:18. did you make it?
It's definitely in the bag. Mine was black tho
@@cougi where did you purchase your float system? are you in the US?
@@marctronixx Aliexpress from DF Video store. I'm in Europe :) delivery took 4 months tho (chinese new year holidays + covid + Evergreen)
Love your channel my brother! I have bought the Title Float as we go out and preach the gospel on the streets and we film it! My back will love me so much with this new system! God bless!
@@cougi mine as well, was bellow the spring arm
THANK YOU! This review is awesome and very helpful. You rock!
This is fantastic! FINALLY someone with a hands-on review!
This channel shows how to marry, and improve, my two favourite eco-systems (Tilta & DJI). As such, is currently my favourite channel. Thank you.
I do like how you put the 2 arms on there and made it an overcarry making it versatile that is very positive. The only thing is being able to use different setups individually that’s going to be the breaking point for me
Thank you for sharing Amigo !!!, excited to see footage with the full setup running
Im so grateful I ordered it (and the hydra) before the price went up. It looks like (i hope) I will be able to use my flycam with the spring arm on days I dont feel like dealing with my RS2 or whole float system. Adam looks so natural with the float. Get this man an Arri Trinity
You're awesome I'm just getting into film myself and I've learned a lot from you thank you.
Lol OMG no fair! I’m waiting on mine still! 🤣 It’s really great to hear your thoughts on it since you have the perspective of making one of the best homemade versions I’ve seen out there. Thanks for putting this together and can’t wait even more to get mine and modify it for my Crane 3S.
feels like ive been waiting an age for someone to to review this
It's nice to finally get a look at it. Hopefully Tilta will sort out the bugs quickly and start sending them out.
Great video with perfect comments about an amazing product..we've been waiting!
This is fantastic! I'd like to see a tutorial in making the vest more secure.
Awesome! Thanks. I’m glad I built mine already
Faktycznie ciekawie rozwiązane. Świetnie to zademonstrowałeś. Szacuneczek!
I ordered mine just before Tilta announced the upgrades and price increase! So excited to get mine - also ordered their Hydra Alien car mount system at the same time - can't wait to get them both!!
Great video. I like your combination of DIY and what's in the box. Brilliant.
Bloody awesome content! Valuable info at just the right time! Cheers
Yup, still my favorite channel! Still revisiting videos time and time again! Excited about your continued success :)
💪buddy
DIY ARRI TRINITY to the next level and beyond great nice work.
This is probably the most video I rewatched on youtube 😅 it's gold
Saeid 🙏😀
Great thorough video! The setup for this, I'll admit, I feel is SCARY long! I generally stay away from non tripod stabilization for this very reason.
Wow this takes the RS2 to a new level. Like the mech skills.
Thank you very much for a consistent overview. Appreciate it
Wspaniały i pomocny film, bo zastanawiam się nad zakupem. Pozdrawiam !
This was so dope to watch ! Thank you for the tutorial
Adam your tutorials are great! thank you for your hard work
Dziękuję. Bardzo przydatny film.
WHAT ! I dndt even know they made this. I REALLY NEED THIS. im so limited to what i can mount to my DJI RS2 but this is perfect !
Awesome product and great review. This will definitely make you feel and perform like a real pro.
thanks James !!
Definitely my fav CZcamsr since the first film
Cant wait for mines to come in I’m excited .. this is my last gimbal for a while hopefully 🙏
Dzięki Adam, przekonałeś 🙂
Od pierwszych chwil zastanawiałem się czy nie słyszę Polaka, Teraz już jestem pewien :D Ciekawy i bardzo ładnie zrealizowany materiał. Brawo.
dzięki !!!! 💪
Super glad I subbed really solid vids! You got me hooked for building out my own, love that mentality!
a full tutorial for balancing would be cool !! great review thanks
Another great tutorial & review. Thank you so much for taking the time!
so good to hear it !!
Oh man thank you so much. I was hoping you would make this video :D
Nice one, I'll be watching this again when mine arrives to help with balancing.
Thank you Adam! Awesome insight
Another great video. I tremendously appreciate your efforts!!
Justin great to hear that !!
Looks like it’s finally time to get on the waiting list they might actually start shipping before next winter
Wow. You're on another level. Nice!
Just put in my order today. Glad to hear there will be a balancing adapter for the battery weights. I wish they’d include a belt too.
Lastly, I’d also like to use it with a monitor rather than phone. I wish they’d include power options for a monitor from the batteries.
Right slap an atomos 🥷 on there.
Trafiłem na ten kanał przypadkiem, zostaje na dłużej! Jeszcze się okazuje, że to rodak! Pozdrawiam ;)
WOW, JUST WOW!!!
I've been waiting for this thank you so much
hey Adam, great video as always, could you maybe make a litte video on how you did modify the base plate for additional power?
Gracias !!! Gran trabajo !
This looks fantastic! Love your video btw, super helpful!
thanks Matt !!
was waiting for some videos like this since your first "home made" system!
Absolute brut! Zajebiscie!
Ok, this looks freaking fantastic.
Your video I mean.
Great job dude.
I've got a Sony nx100 on a zyhiun crane 3. It's a pretty little set up at just shy of 10 lbs.
What you have here looks very pretty.
Great video for camera pr0n.
about time we got a review .. thx
Awesome info. Thank you. Considering this Tilta Float, after watching your amazing adaptability to this unit, makes it even more tempting. Again, thank you for your time and review. Best, Mark PS subscribed.
thank you !!!
I love this kind of videos, great work as always!
I didn't know that you can use the normal RS2 battery for counter balance, thats actually really cool but it looks kind of weird compared to a vmount.
Thanks for sharing this review!
It was very helpful!
My pleasure !!!
Hey Adam! You ROCK!! 🤘🏻
Great vid, Adam. Lovin it! Getting mine next months.
Love to see a vid about your vest adjustments, seems like a perfect solution for me
I love your work and channel! I hope you ll post more videos and tutorials!
Hey, This is one of the best reviews ever.
Omg. I'm so close to ordering one right now!
Its Magic!!!Thank you for the great video lesson
my pleasure :)
You're the man!!
thank you.
Incredibly good content. Keep it up.
No bardzo fajną zabawkę macie :)
¡Excelente material! 👍✨
Super cool! Well thought out and perfectly explained.
thank you !! Kurt
This looks amazing! Definitely going on my wish list!
💪
I don't even have a camera nor any gear that I could use with this but I am already dreaming of the possibilities if I'd own this and a mirrorless with decent glass. Awesome video, saved for the future!
I'm Building My Budgetinity setup.. got a vista two and i'm making the sled and bearing centre myself. this is the way forward, Warning to all those who have a vista flycam setup, you'll need to build something in to stop the arm womdering like they have on the float or the arri system. without it you'll struggle. Great work dude awesome vide watched it 5 times now and i'm still noticing stuff i missed the last time i watched it. :) amazeballs.. CNC machine is running and so is the 3d printer thanks for inspiring me to try something new with my steady system
it's so good to hear that 😀💪
Gorgeous device! The picture is 85 mm without stabilization, just fantastic!
thank you, yea 💪 stabilization is perfect
What a fantastic video.
So much cheaper than the Trinity! Love it 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Oh!... Great, easy and good. Thanks guy.
Wow, one hell of a learning curve here, I bet it is worth it once you master the physics, other than that with the RS2 ring grip, not a lot of people wd jump on this, either way I am in love with this set up, its just the physics 😁😁😁, great Job.
You mentioned a mod to the power base plate so you could use d/p-tap to power the camera. Could you go into detail about that? That's the one thing I would need to make this a practical setup
Same here… have you find out the solution? I really need to power my Bmpcc4k with dtap from vmount. Thanks for answer
Hey, great video thanks for doing it.
What are your settings ( deadband, follow speeds ...)on the Rs2 working best on the system?
OMG Take my money already! THANK YOU!
Going crazy on this , but I can't use it due to back injury. Awesome product .. good explanation ..tq
What a great review Adam! thank you
my pleasure !!
Been waiting for a video on the tilta float. Great video!!
thanks House Films :)
Great review and also great channel. Thank you. ☕🌴☀️📸🌋👍🏻
Amazing detailed review!!
Good Sir, even despite all those awesome gimbals, you friggin rock!
Another excellent video. Lots of useful info.
Great video! I can’t decide if I wanna buy this or build it like you did in the last video haha
