That woman stealing from that old man...pretty sure he had a veterans cap on, too. Same shit happens in nursing homes. Grandparents jewelry was stolen by hospice workers, nursing home staff, all of them. Take care of your loved ones, folks. Make sure they can't be put in a position like this.

Better than some so called "Care" Homes, believe me, his house is neat & tidy and someone has set up that hidden cam for him.. never make assumptions.. My Moms next door neighbour with several "problems" was doing similar and we visited her daily. People are crafty, the neighbour would call evening time & Mom was glad of some extra company because neighbour seemed like a "sweet lady".. Go see your folks as often as you can, you owe them your life. Set up cams. If there are any *genuine neighbours ask if they would pop in also. Its very sad what this dreadful woman is doing & I hope sje got caught. Its called "Elder Abuse" and is an offense.

Sadly for WHAT? She broke no laws! He invited her in, she did not beg or demand anything from him. The only thing the family could do is bring him home, hire a caretaker or put him in a home! Or do what I would do, track the wench down and convince her that she is better off never bothering him again and do it in such a way that no one else in town ever bothers him again either!

I knew an elderly lady that got taken advantage of when she started getting dementia and it was very sad. She never got her money back, either. There are people out there who prey on the elderly so beware!
The lady was trying to find the cord for the camera...to unplug it. It was a "live feed" , and recorded, for his daughter. Yes, she's been charged.

I am in my 60's but have cognitive issues. A family member is a designated payee. I have a small account with less than $100 in it. ( If I want Take out or something) That way, no one except my Family has access to my money, my bills are paid, so I don't get behind, or forget.

my mother was in a care center for 2 weeks and the cam master worked great the nurse taking care of her was under arrest for stealing my mothers rings and necklace i was outside the room she got arrested and charged with stealing from the elderly that same day i removed my mon out, , instead of a camera your father should have had help ?

It was a dried out plant in a metal cage like holder. It burned super hot because it was like tinder or fire starter.
The thick fiber lining of the potted hanging baskets can be very quick to burn when dried out. Sometimes the fibers are dried coconut, or some other plant shred, bark-like.

But if he makes it in before the police, they might as well send someone with a body bag. There was 2 guys running from the cops and both bailed out of a running truck. It ran right into my parents porch that was like a wooden deck with fencing/railings. (much like the last video with the fire) I think they eventually got half the cost of repairs. It's not right.

Nursing home care costs 75K a year easily, in a normal facility... Maybe the guy had 1 daughter, and his wife died, and she's all there is to help him? And maybe she has to go to work? I'm sure she'd like to do better, but she's clearly not wealthy.

Don't judge without knowing the facts. Sometimes when people are aging but they can still get around but dementia is in the early stages, they are able to stay in their home with someone checking in on them. Sometimes when you put your loved one in a facility, their health declines quickly.
