Finally Been to Ninh Binh (Part 1)

- In this travel vlog, my dad, gf, and I take a guided tour around Ninh Binh, Vietnam. Ninh Bình is a picturesque mountainous jungle region about two hours away from Hanoi, Vietnam.
Interestingly, much of the film Kong: Skull Island was filmed in Ninh Binh. The serene mountain landscapes are home to beautiful nature as well as goats which skillfully scale the faces of cliffs.
We booked a guided tour of Ninh Binh on Tripadvisor for $60 each. The tour included a bicycle ride around a local village, a buffet style lunch, a visit to the temple of Dinh Bo Linh, a boat tour of Tam Con, and a visit to the Hang Mua Peak. The tour left Hanoi at 7am, and we returned to Hanoi at about 7pm the same day.
For any travelers looking for a fun day trip when visiting the northern region of Vietnam, Ninh Binh is a great way to spend a day or two!

When we were in Vietnam, on the advice of a local, we took trips with a Saigon company called Sinh Cafe (not sure about the spelling). They were excellent and cheap.
I like Đầm Vân Long in Ninh Binh is house of King Kong ( Kong Skull Island)

Ninh Binh videos from vloggers in the past 2 years have been amazing ("Adventures of A+K", "Flora and Note", "Sammy and Tommy", etc.). I always loved the view from atop the mountain with the dragon, the aerial views of the boat rides, and the bike rides through the countryside. Hope you guys had a good time there!
guess i will catch it for this but; why wear the conical hat? the group you met did not have them and even your tour guide had a baseball cap. many vietnamese do not even like them and they seem to be used by mostly old people or people in the country. i also have seen they probably keep the heat in the top more so due to the shape. i think i know another reason to get tour groups to do that but; will skip that. btw; even your girl friend seemed uncomfortable wearing it.
