  • In this travel vlog, my dad, Trang, and I take a guided tour around Ninh Binh, Vietnam. Ninh Bình is a picturesque mountainous jungle region about two hours away from Hanoi, Vietnam.
Interestingly, much of the film Kong: Skull Island was filmed in Ninh Binh. The serene mountain landscapes are home to beautiful nature as well as goats which skillfully scale the faces of cliffs.
We booked a guided tour of Ninh Binh on Tripadvisor for $60 each. The tour included a bicycle ride around a local village, a buffet style lunch, a visit to the temple of Dinh Bo Linh, a boat tour of Tam Con, and a visit to the Hang Mua Peak. The tour left Hanoi at 7am, and we returned to Hanoi at about 7pm the same day.
For any travelers looking for a fun day trip when visiting the northern region of Vietnam, Ninh Binh is a great way to spend a day or two!
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed this travel vlog.

I love this boat ride. Very tranquil and peaceful with awesome scenic views. Worth the $$ since we don't have something like this in our home country, or if there is, it'd probably be 10X the cost.

That was very cool! Was that the longest tour ? I’ve seen videos of this tour. It never disappoints me.

Tôi người VN sống ở Sài Gòn nhưng khi đến đây tôi cũng thật ngạc nhiên vì quê hương mình có được những nơi tuyệt vời như vậy.

I'm not sure if it was the longest but the boat tour lasted about an hour or so

Tyler, you said there is nothing like that in America. However, there are as stunning places in the USA, such as the Grand Canyon, Zion, Arches, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, etc. Obviously, it is not comparable, each country has its own beauty.

Very weird you say that because when I was editing the video I thought the exact same thing. While America doesn't have anything exactly like this, it has it's unique natural beauty.

I cannot believe how athletic these elderly Vietnamese people are!! I'm in my 30's and I'm already winded from kayaking myself for 2 miles, I CANNOT imagine pushing 3 other people in the boat for how 5plus or so miles

Unfortunately you picked the less scenic route 😢
They have a route with a temple in the middle of the lake that's awesome
They also stop on multiple temples on the way that are a cool visit

I never forget how my grandfather taught me how to remember about stalagmites and stalactites. He told me that you only need to remember one. A gentleman always wants the tights of a lady to come down, thus stalactites come down😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was seven when he taught me that.

Did they not make a stop at any of the pagodas or anything? I thought the one in Tam Coc drop people off on an island with a pagoda or temple. I know there's one that stops at the King Kong Village as well (the village they built for the movie). As far as buying a ticket, yes, the tickets cost around that much, but I think you cannot go on the boat alone unless you pay out all the seats and I'm guessing the tipping is per person.

    • @BigTimeBentley
      @BigTimeBentley  Před 6 měsíci

interesting. I'm not sure about the price of the boat perhaps being more but the recommended tip was a per boat rate.

nice boat ride. would you not want to lean backwards in the caves instead of forward. if you mis-judge the height it might be a hard hit. you should pay a bit and try the rowing with feet.
