@@3618499 This is 100% not completely up to standard. We had a similar machine at work, and the *entire* upper side of it was a giant kill switch, so if you touched it while loading the whole thing would stop.

A lot of these are outside of the US. so OSHA rules don't apply. Look for a channel called "SSI Shredders" all American stuff, and you get a good view of the whole area in their videos. Made to be pretty safe for the operators.
