2:32 English test is reqiuired for skill assessment from Engineers Australia, therefore it is the first step that is needed to be done.
Karl,
Engineers Australia requires english test results, unless you are a citizen of some English speaking countries or have graduated from an Australian high education institution.
Therefore, english test results should be taken first and then skills assessment done

Would you please help me to know about my case. I applied 482 visa on 2/5/2024 on 7/5/2024 case officer sent me RFI (PCCs) I submitted them on 10/5/2024 and my Medical examination were submitted on 6/5/2024 and are cleared in immiaccount.
The status in my immiaccount is further assessment. So far I'ven't got any other RFI or visa grant. What could be the root cause of that delay?

I’m an accounting graduate and I haven’t done my professional year to get the skilled assessment. But I’m going to get my PTE 7 bands to apply for skilled visa. So this video mentions that we can get one by getting PTE marks right?
Is it ok to do skill assestment first befor taking the english test or is it mandatory to take english test first when applying 186?
If the skill assessment does not require English then you can that first if you wish to but sometimes its better to make sure you have the English you need first

What is Trade Skills Australia..!? Is it different from Vetasses
is the assessment test written based exam type?
Hello Carl. I have a bachelor degree in engineering from Lebanon, which is not listed in either accord of Engineering Australia. But the university where I graduated from is ABET accredited, and ABET is part of the Sydney and Dublin Accord. The university got accredited October 2013 and I graduated February 2014.
Can I apply for assessment throughout Sydney/Dublin accord or do I have to do a CDR?

Hi Karl, I had applied for skill assessment in 2020 and received a positive response from them. As the same got expired few months back so I had to applied for the new one. Though the documents and details I provided was the same, I still got the negative outcome stating that Your skills have been assessed to be unsuitable for migration under ANZSCO Code. Kindly guide me if this is because of any document missing or could be other reason.

I've done JRP skills assessment as a chef. But Im wondering if I need to finish another skills assessment (OSAP) to apply for ENS DE visa. Cuz some people say JRP is just for state sponsorship visa(491,190).

Thank you for this informative video which I just came across. I had a query regarding my education and occupation. I have completed Masters degree in Cyber security and have been working as a Transition Specialist role including more on the project management side and a less on the technical side I would say 70 - 30%. Would this affect my application during the Skills assessment in proving that I'm skilled enough to perform the occupation that I'm nominating for the application of my Visa?

Hi Karl, my corresponding assessing authority is Engineers Australia. As you said some assessing authorities offer more than one assessment service. I have a doubt whether I should do only the migration skill assessment or do the relevant skilled employment assessment also to claim points for experience..
As far as I know you need to ask for work verification during the skill assessment process with EA. Thanks for watching

I had the MSA with Engineers Australia for mi visa 485 and I do not know if I need a different one for the 190
Hi, want to apply for Vic 190 but one I've one doubt. Did bachelors in electrical and electronics engineering. I've 5yrs overseas and 3 yrs Australia work exp (company sponsored 482 visa) from Feb 2019 to Feb 2022. My skills assessment (in 2020) is done as 233914 (engg technologist) and occupation on my first 2 yrs 482 visa grant was 233999 (engg professional nec) and after expiry, when the company applied new 482 visa for another 2 yrs, the occupation this time was electrical engineer. Doubt is, can I claim entire 3 yrs Australia work exp as per my assessment (as engg technologist) 'or' wil it be problem when DHA checks and finds that I had been granted as elec engineer also in the past. Pls help

Trying to do better now. 189 visa is being manually supported at the moment so don't expect much until the next budget is handed down and then we will see.
