im up to 67 Rwd cars i have owned, mainly old school corollas, the v36 was my first nissan, and has to be my fave, very under rated, and has huge potential, its a nice car for its price, and has soo many cool options, i love the side camera, so handy to park without damaging rims, also love the heated seats, good for my bad back, apparently you can play playstation in it on the screen using the video output, bluetooth calling is also handy, i never did get the bluetooth stereo to work , i now have a 2011 fwd lancer and it sucks, but good on gas,
I never worked out how to get music to play via Bluetooth, some infinity’s/skylines didn’t have that option. But I did get Bluetooth calling to work, so there must be a way to get music going
please post a video about fuel consumption, driving expereinece in ur country and how reliable it is in nsw. compared to other parts of the world. can we find its spare parts easily and cheaper

Bluetooth Music doesnt work with most of these cars, only a certain spec skyline/infiniti has bluetooth music,if bluetooth word isnt there, or you cannot select it, then that means no bluetooth music.. it does have a aux port in centre consol,. red, yellow and white plug, you need a red white plug adapter to 3.5mm headphone jack, about $2 off ebay, they all come with bluetooth calling, and its quite tricky to activate, you go into your menu, and its the same with any bluetooth device, you enter a 4digit code of your choice, and on phone, you enter same code, have a read of the manual in the link i have posted here, takes awhile to decipher, or you can download google translate, i used both to get mine working, www.skyline-gt.com/filedump/v36-translation2.pdf

Megan Mcdowell how often do you drive. And how long do you plan to keep it for? The two variables you need to know, If you plan to keep awhile. The 350gt will hold its value better, like a iPhone. Would you buy the iPhone 6 or iPhone 7. The 6 isn’t worth as much as the 7. Example Fuel wise, 250gt does 9.8l per 100km the 350 is 11.5l per 100km. So for every 100km it will cost you $4nz more in fuel. So about $400nz per year more at average driving distance, so not much difference but over 10years that’s $4000. Half the value of the car, but in 10years you would hope it wouldn’t drop too much in value. I personally would go with 350. As i did buying this car, I thought the big one was 450gt and the Low 250gt. Il pick the middle

Fuel wise I’ve always had very uneconomical cars so getting something like this who everyone says chews the gas doesn’t really bother me. My altezza 6cylinder 2l chews through the gas too
Hi Josh, I have a this car, but I feel it is shaking when I driving, I am not sure the reason is the shock absorbers or tyres, even though I have done 4 wheel positioning. How about urs?
i sold my skyline, but am a mechanic, the front wheels do not fit the rear, and the rear wheels do not fit on the front, so you cant of had the 4wheels positioning, is the front shaking or rear? do you feel it thru sterring wheel? first thing i would check is the wheel nuts, if they are loose that could cause shaking which will mean wheel is about to fall off, next thing to check is the front wheel bearings, jack up each corner put one hand on top of wheel and other hand on bottom and to see if the wheel moves, if it does move then you need a wheel bearing,another way to check is drive up to 100km, and stop suddenly, steering wheel will shake, if it doesnt move, then its not a front bearing, Next thing to check is get wheels balanced at a tyre shop, see if one wheel on front is bent, or see if one tyre is out of shape, the last thing could be the steering rack needs replacing, which is very unlikely, but check the powersteer oil level anyway, shock absorbers do not make it shake, they are designed to make bumps in road less bumpy, let me know more info, or if any of these suggestions help :)

My car was Teana, it was feeling very comfortable not shaking when I driving, and I only need use one hand to control the steering wheel, even though driving on bad roads. Skyline 250gt is more expensive then Teana, but really feel unsafe, the shaking I mean just like driving on the bad road, feel bump, ( maybe the car too light?) and the steering wheel is not shaking but it is easy to turn by itself, even thought did 4 wheels positioning.
yes im in wellington, it does sound like the car is too light, and the wheels maybe too small, to fix, you need bigger wheels, or softer springs, without driving it myself i cant know what is exactly wrong,
GTR R35 what’s a boxter? I’ve driven a few Lambos and Bentley’s, I have a client who has a gt continental, he won’t let me record it, new cars can take a bit of force, I wouldn’t treat a older car like I did this skyline, old things break easily,

I do miss that car, it was the best car I’ve ever owned, I would consider getting one again oneday, but not as a daily driver, unless I got a huge payrise, my latest car costs me $53 per 700km. Hybrid corolla, so much better on the wallet, but slow.

Very bad, from memory I think it was 14 litres per 100km, city driving, Open road driving was about 12 litres per 100km Reason why I sold it,
