i just bought mine and gonna get it in around 3 4 days in syd. hopefully it lasts me as much long as i expect it to. much love, thanks for making this vid
hey mate, love the video - very informative and covers pretty much everything. Does the dashmat you use fit properly, or does it end up covering the circle headlight sensor that sits on the dash?
Just bought one :) what kind of intake do you have on it? keen on getting that intake noise. I agree with you on the dash mat, i get heaps of glare from the dash too i've noticed
I am tempted to buy one of these i have an xr6 turbo ute sitting in the garage that doesnt get used much as i have another ute for a daily the nissan would be a more practical toy not as quick as the falcon but a lot better to drive, and better for touring.
@@sendology1016 The nissan only has 242 kw at the flywheel and a measly 374 nm of torque i have more than that at the back wheels and an extra 200nm on top of the measly 374 LOL.
Great video, thanks! Can you advise where you got your replacement silver interior door grip caps from? Mine on my 2008 coupe are scratched up badly and wreckers are asking $80 each for them. $40 brand new is a lot better deal!
Top video mate! sealed it for me I'm picking up mine tomorrow :) here in South Africa was incredibly lucky to find one, very scarce. What exhaust is this? perfect note and not obnoxiously loud
Hey mate, how do you compare it driving wise to hthe fn2? Im looking to sell my fn2r and get one of these with the 7 speed auto( can't find a manual) however im afraid it's going to be boring.... Just wondering if more powerful, rwd and better sound makes up for it. Thanks
Thats a tough one. The power is completely different the 370gt is a lot faster than the fn2 but a lot less engaging as the 370gt is auto. The skyline is very sedate in looks and day to day use but I chose to sell the fn2 as in Sydney traffic the skyline wins hands down.
It's probably just the volume for the voice message is turned down. Next time you start it start pressing the stereo volume up button that may fix it..
Hello there , i saw you talked about the reservoir tank , mine is constantly missing coolant, there is no visible leak , and there is no overheating since the radiator is full ... just the tank is missing 😕 ... i will start with changing that tank .. any opinions aroundd?????
@@driftcarsjp thank you for replying, i did find the leak it was on the tank , when the tank got more coolant from the radiator it leaks around the middle of the tank .. i passed my hand and there was the coolant
Could I ask how to fix issue about Bluetooth disconnection randomly, because when I connect Bluetooth successfully, maybe after a few minutes it will disconnect automatically 😂
Yeah, just get a g37, it’ll be a lot cheaper due to not having to import it. I’ve got a g37xs coupe, but it’s a 2011, so it has a sportier front bumper than this one which has the original sport front bumper. I have the same brakes, just with Infiniti written instead of Nissan and my rims are a bit more extravagant, again due to the year. Mine doesn’t talk to me in any language though, unlike this Nissan. I came from an 08 M35x that has 191k miles and the VQs in these cars is crazy reliable. I’m jealous of Australia’s access to the Nissan jdm market though.
550 on a full tank? Ive got the 350gt pv36 sedan and on a full tank, i only get 400..thats with all servicing done. I dont do anything fancy just a daily driver.😂
Anyone looking for parts - Look for LSI Japanese Auto Parts in Sydney - these guys can get anything for you. Then Amayama (new parts) and Skyline Parts (they have literally everything in used parts if needed). In the US - Z1 motorsports - I just ordered 6 litres of Nissan Matic S ATF and OEM spark plugs and it came up cheaper including crappy exchange rate and FedEx shipping than getting same stuff from local Nissan dealer in Oz. For the last 3 years running this car cost me like running Toyota Camry
What a spot on review, laid back straight to the point. Keep it up mate.
I LOVE that analog clock!
Awesome job mate, looking at one today. Thanks
thanks for the video man, very informative. I'm looking at buying one :)
I like your car a lot, and your camera technique is v good as well 👌👍
I’d love to own one of these it’s beautiful 😍😍
Great owner's review. Cheers mate!
Got one... and I love it!
These are great cars..fun to drive and have a great sports look..

So many features in these cars, such great value. Im looking at getting the sedan version!
I have the sedan version. Get it, you will not regret it. (I live in Canada, so ours are not called Skylines. Infiniti G37)
Thank you for review! Can you fit a rear facing child seat in the back too?
You can connect your phone via bluetooth. I have the skyline gt250 same radio
hey mate, love the video - very informative and covers pretty much everything. Does the dashmat you use fit properly, or does it end up covering the circle headlight sensor that sits on the dash?
It has a hole for the headlight sensor and fits great..
@@driftcarsjpawesome, could you comment or inbox me the link you bought it from?
It got it from fitmycar they list it only for the sedan but it fits. It's a Shevron dash mat.

The Nissan is a good daily, but if I was you I'd hang on to the Ute too. XR6 turbo are appreciating like a mofo. Great investment.

Very good review, I have this 5 sp model myself. Have you thought of having an ECU tune & removal of the JDM speed limiter function?
No ecu tune for me as it's my daily driver.

The exhaust is a fujitsubo it could be a little louder in my opinion. Hope you enjoy the car..

Ebay.

Why not buy a g37 cluster?
