    Kane isn't "struggling." He is purposely sabotaging the team. This is what happens when you keep a player that does not want to be at a club. I would have preferred to sell him and just keep the money for next season/winter transfer window.

    • @A1un9ine
      @A1un9ine Před 2 lety +10

      Well, if he continues sabotaging himself to get out of the team this whole season, his whole career will go down faster than a drop of rain because 1. he’s ageing. 2. his footballing body language and movements are not like a modern striker at all(lewandoski too, he has that type of movements/body that is not modern-ish but he realised this season that he’s not going anywhere and so he decided to continue giving his 100% effort) and this is where a big problem in football continues to go by because not only Kane decided to do this in the current season even mbappe, pogba and many in the Spanish league are trying to sabotage themselves in order to get sold but that’s not easy.

    So happy Spurs held on to Kane after how hard he tried to leave, it was clear to me that he would struggle this season and they would also struggle, it was a stupid move to not let him go for 100M. Tottenham haven't won a single trophy with Harry Kane, not blaming Kane for that but sometimes, it's just not working out. They should've taken the money, brought it someone hungry and motivated, maybe not as talented as Kane but at least you'd be getting a player who wants to be at the club. Players are humans, if there's no motivation to do well then they'll tend to coast. Kane knows even if he scored 30 goals in 38 league games, Tottenham wont even make top 4 much less challenge for a title so where's the motivation for him.

Those two come from an era when players had an increased sense of responsibility to their team and supporters. Harry Kane is a brilliant footballer but he has to effect the game in other ways than just when Spurs have the ball. And you can’t pick and choose when to try hard. Palace is a London derby. He looks like he’s sulking. His movement on the pitch suggests that. Seeing Tottenham over-run by Chelsea and knowing his best years are behind him by time he might be allowed to leave here, I’d imagine it’s demoralising. Martin Tyler said today that “beating rivals Chelsea would be like a trophy to them” says enough about where the club is at. Spurs lost a Champions League final and didn’t push on from there. A new stadium and tighter finances, Covid’s impact, I think Tottenham can consider themselves well outside of the running for a top four position, let alone anything else. Kane surely knows this.

    How annoyed is Keane. It’s raw effort he’s on about. He’s spot on about Kane, he’s been turned completely by the Man City stuff. I coach kids and the first thing I try to get going with them is “never quit” no matter what’s happening. Why Keane is so angry is why he is Roy Keane, not a grain of quit in him. Kane is earning god knows how much, most of us would do it for nowt.

  • @pinealdreams1064
    @pinealdreams1064 Před 2 lety +44

    The great thing about Roy Keane is he speaks his mind and demands excellence from everyone, but he absolutely earned that right because the man left everything on the pitch everytime he stepped on.
    Break a dude's leg and take a red so the team keeps a clean sheet? Keano will do it.
    Drag a team 2-0 down to Juventus back from the dead? Keano will do it.
    The man may not have been the best technical midfielder ever, but goddamn was he a warrior.

      Lukaku 28 touches in the penalty area. Kane FIVE...Top goals for Spurs against who? An injury-prone Son and ?
      If he plays deep there is virtually no one upfront and the ball will keep coming back. Whatever the situation you don't want your main man playing deep unless you're the old Barcelona or play Total Football like Cruyff and Co for Holland in The 1970s.
      Imagine saying to Jimmy Greaves. PLat deeper Jimmy ! "I'm here to score GOALS COACH!!"..LOL

      @@Isleofskye bruv let me remind you what happened last season, Kane was playing so deep that the same pundits were saying Master class from José coz he has reinvented a new position for Kane coz he's dropping deep. What was the result? He had the best season of his career so far, top scorer and assists, literally no one complained coz him and Son had form last season regardless of where Kane found himself on the pitch.
      The reason why y'all complaining is simply coz he ain't scoring or assisting no more, could be coz he doesn't want to be at Spurs nomore or he just hasn't found form or Nuno ain't José so tactics ain't the same, but people are saying it's coz he's coming in midfield, yet again he did that last season and still found the net.
