    I love your video's . i did im guessing a non traditional tattooing class. More or less i met an guy who tattooed out of his home as he was saveing for his studio he had me watch how things where done and as i became impatient to tattoo he told me theres no more he can teach get equipment and tattoo yourself its the best way to learn . i think that was the best advice id got as doing so i learned so much and now not only has my art approved but i can also tell my clients how much things will hurt and how important it is to really think your tattoos out . im still covering and correcting my past mistakes.

    I like this video. I'm glad you say this about different machines. There is so much controversy between different types and models of tattoo machines whether they are coil, rotary or the pen style. I use coil machines and I found that it is very possible to perfect line work. Others may not agree. Its all about the voltage, hand pressure and hand speed.

    Absolutely wild we just wrapped up year 2 of the pandemic, no official quarantine or shutdown here in Alaska, but everything is impacted all the same. Love this content, though! Happy to have picked up tattooing in a time like this, definitely keeps my mind on the future. Hope you're all doing good out there.

    curious on your opinion of lining with curved mags? I focus on doing full color anime tattoos, and I like to line with 7 or 9 curved mags and I find it heals better sometimes than liners and allows me to sculpt lines quickly and line faster in general. For anything I have to use bigger than a 9 with, I'll just switch to a curved mag...

    Hi mate, great videos. quick question. I know you've got the shader but I’ve just bought the liner wand. It’s 5.0 stroke, would you still say the scumble technique would be acceptable or do you think it will be too hard hitting and mess the skin up? Thought I’d ask before going trial and error

    i think im getting used to lining, but when i wipe and clean them up, it comes out kinda blurry? not very vibrant. i take my time and im getting the hang of how much i press my needle, but do u have any tips or something?? i try to use different colors usually i do red or blue.

    I have an unusual ?.. As a tattoo heals and ages does it get dried in the skin or remain wet... I think that might be a cool topic to get into... I'm assuming it does not stay wet because if it did every time you sweat you would be seeping or weeping ink...

    • @FiresideTattooNetwork
      @FiresideTattooNetwork  Před 4 lety

      The ink is mostly water and pigment with a few other compounds. You are basically only left with the pigment particle once it heals. We did a series recently with S8 Tattoo on the science of ink. Check it out if you have time. Thanks

      If your serious about tattooing... Be serious about your tools, training, and clients. Tattooing isn't something you dabble in.
      Save $, INVEST in the best (I like Eikon n Critical).
      You owe it to a person that is trusting you. They will wear your mark for life. Is that important to you? Spend the extra money on quality needles, quality inks, quality sanitation, quality furniture, quality everything.
      If an extra 100$ (seriously... That's like an extra shift or 2 at a "day job") is too much to invest in yourself for a power supply... Perhaps you should ask if tattooing is something you should be doing.

    Don't know why you're still promoting apprenticeships. How many of your guests report bad experiences, or no apprenticeships to speak of. The apprenticeship myth needs to die. We need a guild that doesn't require being a cute gurl or an in law or cousin to join, like apprenticeships are currently managed
