For Mother Day my gift from my kidos was seeing Ed Sheeran in Houston, TX & The Natural Science Museum with my beautiful daughter & butterflies which was awesome as always an amazingly wondrous experience 🦋 Then off to see the red headed wonder that captured me with his looping, lyrics, & melodies. That night Ed Sheeran held approximately 70,000 Fans filled with love & excitement for him & his songs by knowing & singing every lyric of his music, like a union of voices. It was beautiful. The participation & connection of all the fans singing (me included) while watching E.S. giving a million percent of himself on stage & loving every mega second of it was something I had not experienced in a long long time @ a concert! Here I sit almost 70 years young & loving it! In my timeline I have been fortunate to see & got to meet & know a few of the most phenomenal original performers, go to rock festivals & mind~blowing concerts in the 60’s to date . Like other’s before him, Ed Sheeran has touched many generations’s hearts with his life experiences put into words & music which resonates to parts of each of us at some time in our own life or present time…He is definitely this generations Dan Fogelberg… This one of a kind one man band dude is the real deal. He literally pours hisself passionately into his music & his reflection shines clear & pure in his life, lyrics & melodies !!! Shine on🌟

It really struck me differently to hear this album. I wonder what it would feel like to have people happily singing songs about your heart-wrenching pain. I guess that is why Ed has talked about how it is therapy, but he still gets to choose if he will release it or not because he knows that once it is released it can no longer be held close because it belongs to the people. He did a fantastic job, but it really broke my heart. 😢

I wonder if playing these songs over and over again becomes too much, too overwhelming? I sense he's not in a good mind space in this moment. He's going to be in America for the next few months, I'm sure he's missing his England and the more slow paced lifestyle. But even though I'm going to have to drive a bit, I'm so ready to see him live again. It's been five years! My prayer is that God would heal his heart completely. 💛💛
