To think we could’ve missed out on this if the media had their way, they tried to end him. But talent always wins and thank god, because I don’t know what I’d do without this man and his music.

@callumwhite516 Robbie was trying to bait him to justify his behavior, and he has spoken how he got frustrated that Gary wouldn't always publicly respond. It was his way of showing his frustrations. Nigel only cared about Gary for the most part. These guys never got to process mental health fatigue, that was taboo back then, and their schedule was nuts, with Gary having the most pressure back then to keep writing good songs. It's a shame because a lot of the pettiness was stupid big bro/little bro type stuff. They eventually talked it out and the rest is history.
Absolutely agree, I have not heard him sing until just now when I came across this. I love his voice and it was very beautiful to listen to. I very much enjoyed it -- I am 73 male, Vancouver BC Canada

What an effortless, brilliant, professional performance from one of our best singer, songwriters, that has ever been on the stage. No disrespects to Robbie, and the other guys, but he was the hub and driving force behind take that. I didn’t particularly like the early stuff which was boy brandish, but when they reformed again, their music transformed to another level and targeted the adult audience and they have matured musically and never looked back. I hope they continue as a band for many years to come and never retire, and keep on writing incredible music that will last the test of time!!!
I complete agree. When the group parted, I honestly thought Gary would fly so much higher than his ex band members, but Robbie became huge. Although Robbie is very talented, Gary for me is without a doubt one of the best in his field.
Gary is 52, I am 49, I usually do not get jealous but with Gary I AM! :D But not in an obsessive way, no no no, I am just jealous of his voice. I have heard other concerts / songs of him, live, but this one tops it, he had a good day that day :) When I have a good day and sing a bit my cat walks away, that little prick :D Thank you Mr. Barlow, thank you for your talent.

I’d seen this guy as a judge on one of those talent shows, but I didn’t know who he was. And I’d certainly never heard him sing. I was really surprised when I watched this video. This was OUTSTANDING.
