I agree. Watching Robbie Williams on Netflix brought me back memories that never left me. And Take That's return at the end of this year did the rest. They are still my lads and I love them so much. And I miss Jason so much
This is Take That at their finest. Five grown men, their voices ripened with age, men who know who they are and love their music. They're not a boy band any longer, they're five artists who harmonize beautifully.
2:24 Gary’s huge smile just hearing Robbie loss his nerves and hitting those powerful notes! Thanks Gary, Mark, Jason, Howard & Robbie... brillant! #TakeThat So happy !
It is!! I heard it a couple of times and you can tell the exact moment he breathes in to sing that high note... The second time was very slightly off key but by the third one it was perfectly pitched and could actually pull that long phrase with more ease and power.... Of course sound engineers will put some reverb and what not to make it sound even better but he was really singing.
Robbie Williams was very underrated singer and songwriter, glad he achieved his well deserved solo career, he couldn't stay as a backing singer forever.
Nerves. I think he was unsure of how the crowd would take him, knowing the boys had been so successful without him. Once everyone started cheering him, he got more confident
So much fear in Rob's eyes but you can see it leave as soon as Howard joins him in the first verse. I've watched it so many times and I still love it so much. I ❤️ Take That whether there are 5, 4 or 3 but I miss Jason so much
I got friends with an American couple that moved to Romania a few years ago. And one day they asked me who was this guy that was all over the city, on posters, coming to "Untold festival", this Robbie Williams guy, he seems "important". They have never heard of him or of Take that. Unfortunately, listening to a few songs (my first recommendation was Me and my monkey, my favorite from Robbie) , they were not so impressed, so it just remained at that...
The difference between Take That and many other similarly manufactured groups is that they are a band of brothers. Even when Rob joins for the odd one-off collaboration that chemistry is still there.
When TT hit it big, I was a 14 year old boy in England. I thought their music was horrific. I was really into GnR, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam etc etc. Still am, with a lot more classic rock to boot. Yet I watched this from start to finish with chills and goosebumps throughout. I’ve watched it about 6 times before writing this. I’ll just watch it once more for good measure. Never heard this song before, absolutely loved it!!!
I bought a mic and would pretend i was Take That in my bedroom including the dances. My taste went from Oasis, Blur, Manics, stones to Judas Priest. I will always love Take That
All us Take That fans needed that. It was awesome How brave of Robbie to take the lead vocal on his 1st performance with them in years Loved it The chemistry between them is so special Thank you guys xxxxx
when you combine, Barlow's song writting of excelence, with these lads voices plus Williams, something magical happens, its like all stars align in the galaxy
So true! His voice is like a fine wine, it just keeps on getting better with age. Obviously Gary can sing but I do think Robbie has a much more powerful voice overall.
hi from Canada...the proiblem here and always will be....not only is robbie the best in this group...but the best in the world...take it from a 60 yr old man who's been listening to music all his life lo
different opinions and preferences about 2 great singers. Mine is that Gary is a marvellous singer and songwriter and also a great professional in all senses. I admire him loads and feel delightet to listen to his song, his voice and see his performance on stage.
Robbie had a look of "what am I doing here?" At the beginning. By the second verse he looked right into it. And by the end it looked like he never left
Gary was very forgiving to take him back after everything he said about him ..he's the better person.but saying that ,glad he did ,this is just so good..
@@miriamromeo5059 Basically everything bad that was around like ,,Gary never was and never will be talented", ,,Gary was selfish and acted like an idiot" ..... Things like that.... I mean I personally am a very big fan of Gary, but Gary himself said that back then he really wasn't the nicest person. Now back to Robbie: The point is, everything he said he said in a way that it got really bad for Gary until everyone, everywhere, at any time began telling Jokes about Gary especially when he was around. Gary became a national joke for years, it even got so bad that he didn't leave the house for about a year until he had put on so much weight that nobody recognised him anymore.
It's me or baby Robbie was emotional in the beginning? And all this energy and madness he was really really happy to come back with his brothers. No to forget this chemistry between Marc and him it's so unbelievable, so excited. I love when Rob and Gary sing together their are the best leader and this is one of their best performances. Long life to Take That I really hope from the bottom of my heart that one day they'll be reunited again. The best boys band ever with BackstreetBoys!!
That was just fantastic! It’s 4 o’clock in the morning I was going to go back to sleep but I was so tempted. I’m so glad that watch this. It is made my morning.
I just found this amazing group via CZcams, and I’m in my 60s! They are better than ANY “ boy band” we ever had here in America ! Of course, I’m a fan of early 80s music, and most of my favorite artists were all from the U.K. even then. I’m glad Robbie sang with the band again; he has the best and most powerful voice of the group, not to take Gary Barlow, who is also a fine singer.
Agreed, Robbie and Gary are both good singers but they have very different voices and Take That used this wisely by using Robbie's voice in certain songs and Gary's in others.
this is ending of long journey TAKE THAT will always be remember in history of my life....congratulation guy you guys ending in perfect ... well as we all know time is curse of fantasy and fantasy will end with time but you guy ending in spectacular .. we all always waiting for new generation take your place new talent chosen one in new era bring us to future fantasy of musical and fantasy dream .....DREAM WILL NEVER DIE ....there will miracle when you believe .... new gradation will make it miracle
This is probably the one and only time Robbie didn't think he was bigger than the band and tried really hard. I mean he was the biggest star but it's nice to see him fit in here.
It’s just shows how many people including myself search this up and come back to hear this incredible tune! I forgot his name but his voice at 3:19 was so squeaky and his move at 3:25 was so cute lol he was so young
you just can't beat those harmonies. gives me goosebumps because of their story. my son started singing from listening to Robbie. one day in a bar in Spain aged 5 he suddenly appeared on stage with a mic and sang angels much to our surprise. he now has an amazing voice. just made this have a deeper meaning for me. something I honestly never thought I would see!
Sometimes things gel on the first outing, as they've matured they still have that harmonious magic & sing effortlessly with maturity within their songs.
You can clearly tell it is a live performance because at one part Robbie holds the word a little longer than usual and then goes into the next part. Which makes it even better
Wow! Where was I that I missed this whole phenomenon Take That??? In US going to Graduate School I think? Who says you can never go back I'm discovering and enjoying them in 2020 in my 50's awesome!👍💋 They are amazing...Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams are superstars! 💓🎸👑
What a performance. Robbie continues and always will be one of my favorite singers in music. I need to get all of Take That's albums. I'm just now having a great appreciation for their music. I have been collecting all of Robbie's music his music starts my mornings it's a ritual now. Makes for a better day.
After watching Robbie documentary, this performance has so much more meaning x
Exactly!
I agree.
Watching Robbie Williams on Netflix brought me back memories that never left me.

Where is the documentary?

exactly, this is take that, five voces amazing
Truth Told you know they still sell out arenas right mate
@Truth Told Is that a bit of jealousy I hear....?
@@Callum_2613 This is Take That, not Backstreet Boys, or hell even NKOTB.
@Truth Told what's your problem? Get the fuck out of here if you hate them so much, it's not that hard, your tiny little brain should understand that

* lose *.
I keep coming back to this and the joy on Marks face having his old best friend back is the sweetest
Love that moment between Mark and Robbie, absolute class
Robbie seems to be a very emotional and sensitive man....I admire him for this.
Gary’s smile says it all. The whole band together again
Mark Owen looks like a kid who's parents just got back together
Daddy Barlow is proud of his boys.. the pride shone from him
Ikr.. He Howard and Jason are like bros
hahahaha agree

But this time Rob got back together
I love the way Robbie sings "Tear the ground AWAAAAAAAAAY!". He slayed the performance right there :)

That Gary Barlow smirk at 2:25. He knows it's such a surreal moment.
Yes, he's thinking, 'we really did it.'
ABSOLUTELY F*CKING GORGEOUS!!!
Robbie Williams was very underrated singer and songwriter, glad he achieved his well deserved solo career, he couldn't stay as a backing singer forever.
I agree, but it looks good and they sound together .....
That’s right. He just needed that chance at being solo to really cement himself in the music industry. He came back at the right time
I agree a lot of people say he has just an average voice I would say his voice is much better than average.
Hes shite!
Lee Justin he made take that his absolute bitches though there’s no denying that
No other boyband sings so well after 30 years.
Backstreet boys are definately on another level to these guys
They are great, but Backstreet boys even better...
Mark Owen loved Robbie singing alongside him again
Robbie comes across as quite emotional and sensitive, f*cking love him!!!

Gary barlows face= proud dad!! Still get shivers
Let's face it. If this had been performed as the UK Eurovision entry that year it would've blown everything else out of the water.
Nope
Thats why I love Take That they are all individually so talented but its sensational when they all come together.
They Need To make A Reunion With All 5 Members Again Before it’s too late
Don’t even get me started man, that would be a dreaaaaam
Absolutly. BEST BOYBAND EVER . THE FLOOD they sing so very god togheter. You want to hear more ❤❤❤
This seems like yesterday, take me back please. The world was so much better in 2010.

Mary Beth Maas do you know why Jason didn’t joint them ? I couldn’t find any info about that
The USA have no idea what they've missed out on.

The best performance of The Flood! They sound so good live!

I think this was Playback. But still fantastic. From Germany 😊
Guni twinsister Nein, das war definitiv kein Playback. Zumal es leicht runtertransponiert wurde. 😉
Guni twinsister What? No it definitely wasn't a playback !!! One of their best live performances.
So perhaps I'm wrong, sorry. It is just perfect and when it's live I'm much more happier......
