Great tip Kenny! Those AYP Craftsman's from the 90's are bulletproof! I have one very similar to that. 12.5HP 38" cut, Hydrostatic. It runs STRONG, and cuts nicely! Bought it 2nd hand from a dude in Pittsburgh for $450.00. Worth every penny!
No Ken. Grass cutting and hopefully firewood cutting now. But I did pick up a Kohler magnum 8 hp last Saturday. Winter project maybe. No compression. I’m thinking stuck valve maybe, like the Kohler k241 had that I got going a while ago. This magnum 8 apparently ran two years ago. 🤷🏻♂️
Ohh I can smell it runni'n and cutti'n,,,oohh wait, that is probably something here in the shop! I would rather have one of these than almost anything new!
Ken, Did you ever get to modify the spark plug tester to accept short plugs? I have one also and have been trying to design something to accept short plugs. . .No luck yet! ,Thanks, John
Awesome news he didn't get it to start! People ruin so much stuff by installing it incorrectly. Great video Ken
Thanks for watching!
This brought back good memories I had 2 of these tractors and I learned the hard way with the first one! 💯😎
Thanks Renaldo!

This deck had Never been off and the owner did not know about the deck height adjustment knob so he tie-wrapped it to the correct height for 35 years!
Well done Kenny boy you cannot beat these riding mowers back when they were made of real steel
This thing was pitted so bad it looked like the surface of the Moon but still cut great!
Thank you for this helpful information and that extra step that saves us $40 Ken. Great tips. 👍🏾
Belts can be quite expensive!
Where experience really helps, great job Ken 😁🇦🇺
It does help!
Nice job Ken, good looking older mower.
Beat to hell but runs good
Yes sir Ken happens all the time 😂😂😂 ...then they say that mower you sold me is bad 👎 thanks for sharing brother 😊
Thanks Brock
Good tip mate ... It's a good old system
Older is normally better!

Good job ken so easy to mess up a 40 dollar belt 👍

I actually have a Magnum 8, it was dropped off a truck, dented sheet metal and needs a carb. Winter project as well!
You can have this one. You pay the shipping. 🤭
Great tip
Thanks David
