I'm trying to stream sling tv but I just get a black screen with sound. I fixed this for netflix by getting the meta store app. There isn't one for sling, thought I may get around it with the android app. I was following your directions till I got to the last step, I have no download /APK folder, how do I create one?

I think the craziest part is I discovered this video did the entire setup and got everything successfully working without even needing to take my headset off.

got the APK to download and install but will not allow me to login in. Keyboard will not appear when trying to log into disney+. Paramount plus says my region is not supported. any ideas I appreciate the help.
I downloaded the new updated APK and when I go to redo the steps to install, I don't have any approval available for the first "request access" steps. (Quest - android - data) it's bank. what do I do??

Doing a tutorial video for this as we speak , but you should be able to pull the app from the library with your controller pin it to one of the windows to the left or right

EDIT: Nvm figured out you had to pull the app library icon after opening an app
Apps I downloaded don't pop up as they are in download file and can't move it and won't met me give access to the download file
When I get to the Step 1: Request access part, it doesn't let me see Android data, it says to protect my privacy. How to solve that?

the last step where it said to click back two folders and find the download folder did not happen it said you cannot use this folder . I made my own download folder is that cool?

If I sideload the Android Netflix app on my Quest 3, will I be able to view content in 1080P on my Quest 3? The native Quest Netflix app is limited to 480P.
The native Android app is capped at 1080p with a basic Netflix account. Browser is capped at 480p on any device with a basic Netflix account

Go to the meta quest browser downloaded the apk pure store from the apkpure website first . Once it’s downloaded , follow the steps to get it installed

It appears you can’t use the “data” folder anymore. You have to create a new folder.
Yep I’m working on a new video … should be up soon. I’ve also found you really don’t even have to create a folder if all you want to do is install apks. Just go to the downloads folder and install it . Just tried it on 2 quest 3 fresh and it worked
any update please? it does not work currently, click on the apk file in the last step and "there was error parsing this file" or somehting like that

lol I installed discord but havent tried even a call yet. works fine for browsing servers and texting
When making a video call, sharing screen only shows the discord app window screen, not your entire vr experience. I suggest connecting to a PC of you want to share video of your live vr experience OR using virtual desktop
Yeah this did not work. Did all the steps got to verify all in VR mobile Station and then it says " Failure Can't Verify" Any advice much appreciated and thanks for this content.

Hmmm try rebooting the headset and trying again. I did take me a few try’s the first few times
Im on the same boat, everything seems to work find but in the last steps when i go 2 arrows back to the download folder its grey out. There is a message on the header saying for privacy you cant use this folder and only gives option to create new folder. Im not sure why, everything is authorized and verified. If i rebooted then i have to repat steps but it takes a few tries to even connect but still download folder is grey out, any ideas?
Did you follow the configure "manage all all files" where you have to click the invisible allow function?
I tried to make run the official chatGPT Android App and it don't work on Quest 3, said it didn't found Google Play and shutdown... it's there a workaroung for this ?

There are specific versions that works on quest.

Are you on a hurry or something? I had to pause 25 times to see where the heck you were clicking. And it doesn't work because the Quest doesn't let you make changes to the data folder anymore.

Couldn't get this to work on the quest 3. I believe the latest update removed access to the Android data folder, which pretty much disabled mods without a pc

But how do you transfer apk to your quest 3? Your video is pointless.
Look, Mobile VR Station just displays the standard Scoped Storage dialog window, Meta forgot to lock it down. And technically if you are setting it up to mod, you need to use step 2, crash, after "use this folder", it's a quirk of the Meta platform. I have more videos on modding with it, being the developer.

My Quest 3 v66 does not allow ANY folder to be set for "privacy" reasons.
