Dude, glad to see you didn't really hurt yourself. What did you hit, not a pothole i hope.
it was a street sign anchor, minus the sign. i drive by it everyday, but zoned out this time. nailed it at full speed and all. some cuts, a few bruises, destroyed work pants and no witnesses.

You can see it on streetview, look south toward Costco, on the sidewalk, just in the shade of the tree... ya... sneaky... I got trolled by the city planners. =P

NoS, my classic URBe needs a new battery. The proprietary battery is impossible to find. How do I install a new battery? How did you rewire to accept a new battery.

Hey Mark, no the forum is long gone. Many reasons but hoping to stay in touch here in CZcams with questions and such. Preferably in the related videos for more eyes to see. But thanks for reaching out. My Sport model is operational as is the classic prototype, but my OG white project one is down as my battery guy nearly fell off the face of the earth during COVID.
Hello Nos, i recently suffered a crash as well and need to replace the same tube. I know this vid was a few years back but was wondering how difficult was it for you to get the part and how much did it cost you at the time? Thank you and happy to hear you are ok after hitting that orange stub protruding from the sidewalk. Looks like it still there after all these years yeesh!
Haha, ya, gotta watch out with these small wheels! Hope you are okay! Are you on the forum? We could probably back and forth there a lot better and share links and stuff. I ended up working with URB-E who replaced the tube themselves. I truly think it can be done though as it would just need some cutting and drilling. Hit me up on the forum or start a new thread and we'll work our way through it! Should be a fun project.
NoS URB-E yeah not sure why I flipped but i landed on it just the same way you described. So my tube is cracked half way down like yours and for now I am using a strap that I keep my kryptolock attached to,to keep everything in place. I am not on the forum but sure I can sign up. Is it on the urb-e site? Let me know and thank you for your help and quick response.
