doctors aren't trained to cure diseases, they are trained to diagnose and prescribe you medications, pills, and all these whacko surgeries, etc., sponsored by the pharmaceutical companies! If more people got healthy through simple things like a healthier diet, exercise, change in lifestyle, etc., the doctors would not be making money!

I went from having very frizzy hair, almost afro after shower, it was very dry and my hair looked worse the longer it got.
Then i quit sugar.. and just one of the many, many positives i noticed was a much better hair.
Now its not frizzy at all, its not messy, it doesnt stand in 180 directions, its like i take conditioner, the best hair care products everyday without doing anything.

I see a lot of comments that bashed Dr. Berg for saying certain things about certain diets. He didn't say that everyone who did high protein or everyone that became vegetarian would lose their hair. He mentioned that people with certain body types and different cases that he's come across couldn't handle a particular diet course that they'd chosen. He says no diet is one size fits all meaning some people do better with high protein, so do better without animal products, etc. Why are individuals always so ready to jump down a person's throat when they hear something that clearly doesn't apply to them? We have two ears and one mouth. We are to listen twice as much as we speak. It's the course of wisdom. Goodness gracious.

When I'm single and no longer have that stress, my hair begins to grow back and becomes thicker. I also end up with new grey streaks in my hair every time I'm in a stressful relationship. I'm committed to staying single for a year right now and my hair has become full and lustrous lol.

I am currently 39 years old and until that point, my hairline was unchanged. Now, I have lost about an inch on the hairline. Thankfully, I have solved my anxiety (I was on medication but it did not help and made me a zombie) through a period of INTENSE personal growth...I believe I have undergone an 'ego death'. So, cortisol WILL decimate your hairline! I am taking some supplements, working out and trying to be mentally peaceful and my hair is already feeling thicker, hopefully I will grow back at least some of what was lost.

@@doulidle3717 They recommend starting off with small doses because most people feel sick because of the detoxification, but you can add more if you like. I personally found that taking it right before bed was the easiest. (because I'm lazy) I started just taking it with a meal, then slowly just took it on an empty stomach. Or if you pee a lot when sleeping just do it in the morning. I'm sure it's better by itself, but it's up you. I want to say that after a month or less I noticed a difference. I don't really remember honestly. I remember I did notice a difference pretty quickly. I've been taking it so long that I figured I was good, so I stopped for about a week or two and I started noticing hair falling out again. So now I take it every other day/every day. I don't think there is regrowth, but my hair has more volume and just looks better. it's not limp and dead and falling out in my hands like before. (but it could be because of the new shampoo) Haha But you have to remember everyone is different. My issue may have be different from yours. I've had stomach issues for a long time. So I'm thinking my body was low on minerals and not absorbing them right. I think this helped correct my issue. Also I'm assuming that it took years for my body to get this way, so it might take just as long to fix itself. Now it's just habit for the most part and I don't think about it. But I didn't even know so many people were iodine deficient. Also a side note I just started with Blackstrap Molasses and the OMAD. I saw this on Dr. Berg other videos. And I fell freaking awesome and lost 20 pounds. But I'm writing too much. Just start off small. Do the Iodine and apple cider vinegar and see if you notice a difference. I really hope it works for you too. I'm not stressed about my hair anymore. I'm just glad it's not falling out anymore. (Last reminder) Don't be worried if you do see some hair fall out. It is normal anyway, and they say sometimes it falls out more before it stops. But don't loose heart. If you remember let me know if it worked for you.

Weight training intensely is very stressful. Putting 600 lbs on your back and trying to squat down and up with it is kind of terrifying even if you can do it. The extremely high protein diets these kids are typically on might not be the best either. Hmm. Curious.

Or you could try massaging your scalp and get the blood and oxygen back to the roots. I cleared a worsening scalp psoriasis I had since I was like 17 and I suspect I wouldn't have lost all my hair if I knew what to do. Look at how tight some scalps are. Of course the hair is dying and falling out. It took months of massaging my scalp for hours a day to clear it up and I'm convinced I wouldn't have lost my hair if I had just known to kneed my scalp back to life.

Got my blood checked multiple times and I’m not deficit in anything, my blood sugar/pressure is fine, and so is my thyroid. At this point i believe it has to by hormones. (Which they cant check at doctors offices) I’m going to try and see a naturopath and see what they can find, since we haven’t been together for awhile and it still hasn’t gotten too much better and I’m doing everything right as well as diet and supplements go. Tons of veggies , mainly kale and spinach, berries, nuts and seeds, eggs, avocado, salmon here and there, supplementing with saw palmetto, collagen, vitamin b 12, zinc, (they say you can take those 2 even if you’re not deficient) vitamin C. Bah. It’s out of my hands at this point and just need to get down to the root cause.
Let me know if anything ends up/ended up helping you ❀
side note: not sure if you’re on any medication, but so many of them can cause hair loss or effect on the overall hair. I was on adderall when i was in the relationship, and just recently got back on it because it seems to really help my overall mood and focus , which I really could use right now after getting out of that.
Although, I was on it for years and never did my hair get that significantly bad until our relationship. It was always pretty fine and thin, so it could be a combo of both. But from what I’ve read, it doesn’t seem to be one of the main drugs that causes hair loss, and if it did, it’s indirect, since it can potentially raise cortisol and stress hormones, as well as suppress hunger, so therefor not getting enough nutrients. (Not a problem for me đŸœđŸ·) at least not anymore, since I really got my diet in check these past 2 years in hopes it would help my hair. Just have to stay positive and keep searching to find answers!

Grace Kelly no problem! It was nice being able to relate to someone who’s hair got thin/thinner as well in a toxic relationship. I felt crazy and so alone in my issue, and of course I never dared tell him, I just covered it up with extensions. It was actually so bad at one point that I eventually got a topper (that I hated), he didn’t even notice actually, thank god. It’s not nearly as bad as before, but still pretty bad nonetheless. And I actually just decided to stop taking the adderall. Too many stories on the internet and from friends of it thinning out there hair, I think just being in that relationship was the cherry on top for my hair health unfortunately and i never started with a super thick head of hair to begin with. Just normal fine hair. Crossing my fingers it gets better with time and patience and hoping the same for you as well ❀

There is a human mechanism that dictates that hair do not grow in certain part of the body.
Like, in the middle of your forehead, bottom of your feet , on your palms....
So, when that command from the central conductor of the human body orchestra changes so that your hair
thins out, the issue at hand is more central to that command and not so much chemistry on the outside and diet.....
I know people who live out on the streets, the homeless, who are obviously not very well nourished and these
men have a full head of hair and beard....

After a follicle burns out, can it be revived?

If it is not totally gone it can be revived. My 80 yr old uncle started shaving his head with a straight razor and made a paste of hot peppers, put on his head.after a month many hairs were back and getting thicker.

Dr Berg, I do not gain weight and have hair loss (on top of my head) not patches, but everywhere (I guess). My body type is ectomorph which is not listed in your quiz.
When I wash my hair lots of hairs falls off.
    What should I do?

I'm 17 years old, 5'2 and 145 lbs. I was almost 200 but with the Ketogenic Diet, I've lost a ton amount of weight and gained so much muscle with going to the gym, and eating right and have so much energy.... but I'm balding. My hair has thinned out so much and I know I eat meat but I don't eat too much protein, I don't overeat protein. Atleast I don't think I do. And ugh it's just so frustrating, I wish I could call Dr berg and explain. I want to graduate highschool with a full head of hair, not a wig.

I bought this argan life shampoo because it's truly organic. I also bought the argan life oil and love them both. My hair and scalp feel great. It has a very pleasant scent. Highly recommend.
