Not to take anything away from her, but I play recorder, flute, sax, harmonica, and native 6 hole flutes as well. They sound really good with a little echo turned up on the mic.
Come on squire. She is not a proficient recorder player- slipping on the cross fingerings and lacking breath control: stil very wet benind the ears. No musical sensitivity or variety- all we have is echo effect to muffle the squeaks. Embarrassing. A guy would never get away with posing with a green plastic dreadful; all she has to do is whisk her hair away a couple of times and she knows she has certain folk trembling at the knees. Tragic really.
I looked up recorder covers because they were supposed to shitty and squeaky but I guess I have to apologize to Mrs. Malloy now, (elementary school music teacher), recorders aren't utterly useless.
I started playing the recorder in school and loved it. At home I'd play for hours in my bedroom driving my parents crazy. I played so much that I got light headed 😂 but I got pretty good at it that instead of driving my parents crazy they asked for another tune 😁 I'm going to start playing again next year for my new years resolution

In my case is more confusing. I grew up speaking Spanish and we call this "flauta dulce" (lit. sweet flute), until I realized that American flute is a different kind, and the "sweet flute" that I'd known was a recorder indeed.
