Someone give this girl a tv show on tlc

yess! I would watch
Yes give her a Telly show
👍
Yes!!! I totally support that
She turned two dresses and made an expensive looking dress .-. Damn sewing and transformation goals
***** Yup!
@firestar omg your profile pic is on my iphone's lock screen!!!
and now its yoosung xD
the MC's are everywhere hehehe.
Lucia D la que mi jki
Mmujiylooiiololii.
subbed after watching one video. I know I will never touch a sewing needle in my life.but I do love your creativity.
same
Same.
same
Same seriously tho
same
DAMN! I'd pay her to make my prom dress. lol
me too(≧∇≦)
ikr XD
I would too tbh
Hannah Bae haha me2
Your $27 prom dress was way more prettier than my $100 prom dress when I was in high school! I love it! xD
+Jenny Feng Thank you! haha! :D
+Brooklynne Williams hand sewing would take forever and it wouldn't look as goid
If she can do this with a prom dress, imagine how gorgeous her wedding dress will look in the future 😉
Blue Monarch we will soon see it for ourselves
She eloped and made her wedding dress. It was stunning.
This dress would retail about 300 dollars if it was sold in stores but amazingly it was made under 50. Nice job and I inspire to make a piece like this for my prom :)
well, it's only done for under 50 if she doesn't value the time that went into it
Tanaka And the machines she used 🙂
Tanaka and the brainstorming
rhouziel fadil he Eomma Jin
and she had a lot of fun making it :)
you should open a shop and have others work there to help you, and people could bring their own things in and the idea of how they want it, you could charge them depending on how many things you're transforming. You're really good at this, i seriously think you could make a living out of this plus the videos to do it.
Chopped Wombat true if i could do what she does i would alot easier than selling food from home.
what would you be prepared to pay though?
Deborah Moran People would love the idea of finding a item that could BE perfect but needs some adjustments or having a dress in mind you really want but can't find it or never having to throw anything away just turn it into something else, or something that has a specific sentimental value to you but is too small or out of style or for whatever reason, there are SO many advantages to this, if you bring her the materials then you only pay for her work so personally i would be willing to spend 40 dollars and up till say 80 depending on the things i need
Amanda Peck think of how many hours she spends working in these projects tho. it's so time consuming, if you wanted something like the dress here i imagine it would take more than 2 days. $80 wouldn't be worth opening a shop. i like the idea but it just doesn't seem reasonable
I agree. She is better off teaching others by showing what she does. Just one point of construction criticism - some of her techniques are a little "home made" looking. She would do well to sharpen up on some sewing skills. All designers that sew know that after the sewing machine - the iron is the most important thing - so ironing seams after you've sewn them gives that professional look. Then getting a little clued up on proper ways to insert zips and finish off seams & hems; know how to cut using straight grains in the material; and even overcoming fitting problems. Then a TV producer might consider a TV show.
Wow! That is gorgeous! You should make a clutch with the left over fabric to match!
+Elizabeth Ann thats a great idea!! :D
+coolirpa Do show us the clutch tòo😊!!
+coolirpa im new in your channel and you are so talented
Why aren't you a big star fashion designer? ???😍
paula frade Yes why isn’t she
This was the first ever video from coolirpa that I watched! It's funny bc back then I didn't understand a thing about what she was talking about, but today, 5 months after buying my sewing machine, I understood it all! yay progress is fun
It doesn't matter how good my hemming and stitching is I can't ever look at an already made article of clothing and decide to make AMAZING pieces like she does. I lack the eye for it and the creativity but I do enjoy watching these episodes!
It's all in practice! You might not be born with certain talents, but keep up! I suck at clothes for my characters - but using references is really useful! Look at magazines and models and everything you can.
The clothes were pretty before but the aftermath dress is BEAUTIFUL. Honestly you are getting better at you thrift transformation.
You can never say you have nothing to wear 😂
so true!
+heyslutface very interesting name lol
Steena if she gets to that point she can just transform one of her old dresses lol
I agree with everyone in the comments. You need a TV show. I would watch every episode. You are incredibly talented. You should run a thrifting business where people bring you two dresses and you mix them together for them. It would be a great business. Great job!
Why don't you try to get on project runway or shows like that? you would be great!
yasssss
That's exactly what I was just thinking!
YOU LITERALLY SLAY THE GAME. THUMBS UP IF YOU WANT APRIL TO MAKE YOUR WARDROBE
+Courtney Randall I would pay her a million bucks to make everything i wear
+Courtney Randall AWW LOVE YOU COURTNEY ^_____^
Thank you all so much for the continuous love and support! It means so much to me! Like I mentioned in the video, i'm thinking about doing technical sewing tutorials (or a Q&A) after each Thrifted Transformations. So if theres something you want to learn, please comment down below so I can make a follow up video :)
awesome
+coolirpa Some video ideas--> Maybe a video about draping or an updated sweetheart neckline tutorial? I love your channel :)
+coolirpa How to fit things to your body without a body form?
+coolirpa How to sew with velvet!? Help! I'm sew ;) scared of it!
how to do ruffles and also how to make ur own pattern.😗love ur vids!
This is the kind of shit that fucks me up at night. It's not life choices, it's how the hell does this girl live her life and how can I live it up like her.
My mother sews. Unfortunately I've never really learned because she's never had a really good sewing machine. But I'm thankful to have her hem things for me when needed haha. When I got my prom dress she hemmed it and also made it a tighter fit for me. But to be able to take things and transform them like you do, it's so amazing. I've been binge watching your videos all night.
I honestly look forward to your videos like a new episode of a tv show. Feel like Im watching project runway!
This show series needs to be on TLC as a regular series!!!! Or DIY network!
Fuck this is gorgeous. It looks like it could be a wedding dress
so therapeutic and satisfying to watch you seam rip, anyone else?✨
🙌me!
Sean ripping is so frustrating for me. It just just takes so long!!
I was thinking the same thing!
I recommend listening to music or a podcast while you work. :)
This dress is beautiful! You should totally do a giveaway for one of your thrifted transformations! Like maybe a one of a kind prom dress or something. I'm not in high school anymore, but it would be a great giveaway for a young girl that may not have the money to pay for an expensive dress. :)
the measurements are made to fit her, they're not likely to fit lots of other people.
+Sophiesticated True, but maybe she could pick a winner and then get their measurements to do a custom piece? That way it would be open for everyone. This is just a suggestion though, it may be hard to actually do.
+Liyah Richmond I think that's a great idea. Even if someone had to pay for the dresses $27 is very good for a prom dress. (Or any other outfit she makes)
I watch all of your videos then at the end, stil wonder how you do it 😂😍😭😍😭😍❤❤
think I need like a dumbed down version of your videos 😂
Oh gosh, me too!!! Hahaha
Lol same, I think it might be because I don't know anything about sewing tho. XD
Same! And that makes me feel dumb
I get lost constantly in her instructions. Lol :'|
Out of curiosity, what do you do with all of the designs once you've finished them? You should sell the ones you don't want to keep!
Lauren Coates that would be cool but she makes them custom to fit her
This girl is incredible. Been binge watching her videos for hours haha. She should have a TV show or a shop ❤
Holy moly! I also don't sow but you're so talented and your transformations are so stunning that I come back to watch all your videos anyway.
This dress is so beautiful!!!
The final dress looks like worth at least 300 bucks , really really good job ! I love it !
I know I'll never ever be able to make this but DANG are they cool to watch!!!!
She deserves over 1 million subscribers
She's beautiful
talented
she seems like a nice person
beautiful- oh wit i already said that
awesome
i actually pause her vids
hard worker
puts effort and love into her creations
creative
i loooooove her so much
Wow, April!!!! You've really outdone yourself this time!!!! So beautiful! Bravo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Have you ever tried using a basting stitch to gather fabrics like chiffon or lace? You just use you machine and make a temporary wide stitch across the line and then pull the string to tighten the fabric to the desired length, then use your hands to distribute the peaked and valleys as you want them. It's much easier than gathering and pinning. Learned that trick from Anika and thought about her technique here!
Lol nvm, you literally did this right after I posted that comment. 👍
I can only imagine the pain of all those hours working on that dress😖...It came out so pretty tough!👍
Perla CA Well, she has fun working so hard. I can't even hand sew well. It's pretty sad.
WHATTTTT THE HECK... your fricken ..... a geniouse im blown away by your skill and talent. im so amazed
You just keep getting better and better!!!! What talent!!!!
Teach us how to make hidden pockets for our dresses please!!
You need to go on project runway!
That would be fantastic if she did. She is so creative.
I thought so as well
This is and always will be my favorite episode of thrifted transformations.
Your channel is insane! The talent and work put into every piece really shows.
wow ur soo talented!!!
I see you all over Instagram and depot haha x
Brilliant!! I made most of my clothes through high school and college, but I never would have thought about doing something like this. You are one smart and talented young woman! The dress is gorgeous. I hope you had a great time at the dance.
I just watched like 3 of your thrifted videos and I'm in love! I subbed right away!! 💞
I literally just did the same thing
I just did the same thing too! 😂
I only watched two n I already sub. She's amazing ❤️😱😲😮❤️I love her designs
I hope you own your own clothing line, if not, do it now. You have the most amazing skills!!!!
The technical and/or Q&A would be really great!
The way you just start cutting with such confidence and no pattern pieces always astounds me. I wonder if there are very many people in the world who could do that. It is so fun to watch someone with so much talent. Thanks for letting us see.
the only people who disliked this video are the ones who tried to do what you did but failed. You're epic!!
Ur amazing the whole video I was just like " how the heck is she doing that" I wouldn't be able to get through the first part ur freaking talented
When I discovered your channel, i watched all 24 thrifted transformations in a row. You can call me obsessed ;)

This is more than perfect! Oh my god. It looks professionally made!!!! I would have believed that you bought it from a store if you said so
This is by far your best transformation! That's impressive, well done!
you were born to do this. Beautiful job, God keep blessing you!
People like you deserve to get recognition for what you do.. You're one in a million amazing at it.. Love all your work..
Seriously, you are SO SO talented! This has to be one of my favorites so far!!
This is by far my favorite video of yours. The dress is absolutely GORGEOUS! I wish I was that talented.
I can't imagine how long this takes, my patience goes out the Window when ever I try sewing and stuff zzzzz your so goals!!!!
Please never stop this series!
That's so impressive it's almost offensive
I'm fairly sure clothesmakers wouldn't know where to start with that
When you know you don't have the skills to ever actually accomplish this but it's fun to watch anyway and April has a soothing voice
lol same
You make this look so easy!!! I know it can't be a simple as it seems.. not only the physical sewing, but having an eye for your materials, coming up with the design, and having the patience?! Girl good job. Much respect.
I love how she just sits in her sweatpants and sews. So real
amazing! you would be a great fashion designer!
I agree
so gorgeous!!! love this transformation
I love how this dress turned out! It's so beautiful and unique.
You take the phrase 'create your own style' to a WHOLE new level
Both you and Annika inspire me to sew so much! I recently found a sewing machine in my parents' closet and hope to start learning ^^
I would be extremely interested in a detailed technique video series.
You make this look so easy! I'm addicted to these vids
Beautiful! It's a pleasure to watch someone with such skill and good ideas.
damn how cool would it be to have you as a sister! Id have new clothes almost everyday haha
This reminded me of another Thrifted prom dress from the movie Pretty in Pink
Serena H Yes! Andie's dress was the best one from everyone else's❤️👌🏼💃🏼👗
So good! I can't stop watching these transformations!
You are a very talented young lady! Your creations are absolutely amazing.
I am enjoying your videos very much, thank you for sharing them.
You are a wizard. This is amazing.
Beautiful job, you always inspire me. I don't know how much use I would get from the technical videos, just because I am a seamstress, but I think the idea is brilliant and would be super helpful to those not as well versed.
When I watch her, I can’t wait to the end result of what she was making or sawing, it always nice and beautiful.
You are super talented. I have been sewing for 50+ years and have never tried that. I am impressed.
My sister cleaned her room really well and got a LOT of junk out of it and made a pile which I guess is my thrift store!
it was a complicated tutorial but the results were gorgeous!
These transformations are truly mesmerizing to watch.. I wish I had your talent!! Beautiful work!
Youre inspiring me so much to pursue my dreams of one day becoming a designer. And I thank you for that. 😊❤
