@spiceynachoz1320While Cold War in my opinion was pretty damn good, Vanguard is a story set in WW2, but it’s not a WW2 story. World at War is the definitive WW2 game in my eyes, at it portrays the war as exactly that, war. It’s brutal, it’s chaotic, it’s somber, nothing good comes from the mass loss of life that war brings. It hits you with real footage from the war, missions that visit actual locations and battles that took place, and the final message at the end that reminds you that over 60 million lives were lost as a result of the war. So even when you win the game and end the war once and for all, you question to yourself if the cost was really worth it? I whole heartedly believe that anyone learning about WW2 needs to play World at War, as it’s the best user-interactive experience you’ll get from any media.
