      @@TeamLNE The first war (the main war really) of Scottish independence would have been a great trilogy. First one starts with the death of Alasdair (Alexander) III, follows Wallace. To be honest I'm thinking the timeline of Braveheart but more historically accurate haha. Outlaw King is the 2nd one. Then the third climaxing with Bannockburn.

    • @TeamLNE
      @TeamLNE Před 3 lety

      @@xWHITExEAGLEx I'm liking that idea! If there was a prequel to Outlaw King I'd want to see the Battle of Roslin where John Comyn and Wallace fought side by side to defeat an enormous English army, said to be 30,000 strong. That would lead towards Outlaw King but they deleted a scene from the film where we would have seen Bruce stumbling upon Wallace who has been hiding in the forest. Wallace calls Bruce a coward but then proves himself with the victory at Loudoun Hill....fast forward to Bannockburn!

    The English definitly didn't know how to fight the Scottish in most of their battles! Especially at the battle of the bridge or where the scottish were on the hills! Such skillful tactics are true warefare while the english just fought mindlessly! With hills or dangerous terrains the best option as a british famous with the longbows is to cut them down with archers while defending the archers from attacks and as the longbowmans take them down and the spearmans r on the defnence from the arrows from the sky they would loose their grip of the spear to point at the knights I would use the knights to charge them from the back same time as the archers shoot and send half the Infantry to charge the front and that would confuse the infantry from front and back and would finish them off for good! The English just charged at the spearmen mindlessly and right into their spears with horses that is not skillful and no way to fight an infantry of spears!
