    I'd certainly rather charge down than uphill. But I'm not sure it's an advantage I'd seek out. I would want high ground to hold. But relentless massive momentum isn't necessarily something I'd consider that desirable with all the heavy, hard, long, and sharp things knocking about on a battlefield. Just a random musing

    So we can blame Edward for Scottish hate against the English? Finally, the reason for the anger.
    Thought you had more subscribers but it's good that you're still small enough to properly interact with commenters without being bogged down.
    Very interesting history videos but what are you using for the battles? I'm sure it's a game but I can't remember.

    • @Embracehistoria

      Yeah, Edward 1st got the nickname "Hammer of the Scots" for he what he did to the Scots. He also did some really nasty things to the Welsh, I would argue more so then the Scots.
      I always put what games I use in the description of the video, so for this video, I used total war Attila modded and also medieval total war 2 for the castles as they still look better than what mods for castles on Attila look like.

    William Wallace deserved the title "Braveheart" more than Robert Bruce. Bruce was more concerned about protecting his family inheritance and titles than he was about Scottish independence.

    • @GodTierComments
      @GodTierComments Před 4 lety

      Which Robert the Bruce are you talking about here? You realise the main one in this video is not the leader that led to the Stewarts but in fact his father, who was too old to do battle. It's well and good saying a young and talented Mel Gibson looks the part of a warrior, but don't confuse the two Robert the Bruce's. The father was quite old when Edward I came knocking on his door.
