Bought a freezer the next day and filled it to the top. Now we have 7 freezers full and we help out needy hungry families all the time. We love you!!!!

Bananas and apples are cheap. Pears are pretty cheap. Kiwi fruit is cheap. Carrots are veggies, but they are cheap. Fruit and vegetables are not expensive. Meat is expensive!!!!!!!!!
People who say negative things are just jealous
Many Aldi's stores have started getting pissy lately toward dumpster divers, especially toward folks making videos of their finds. I think corporate has become aware and doesn't like divers promoting diving. Best to keep the camera pointed in toward the dumpster so nobody can identify your exact store location .
yes better not to tell the stores or location that you are dumpster diving
I agree strongly and diffently they get mad when diver rip the bag then when trash get everywhere on the ground they they have to pick it up or get fine this Is why if i were you i wouldnt tell my location or announce you giving it away or selling it.if you open a bag just tied it back not leave trash on they ground just maybe they wouldn't get mad 💁♀️

Hello they are stealing the stuff. The dumpsters belong to the stores that pay for them and did not give them permission.

The opened bag of rice can be used to make heating pad. You fill a tube sock 3/4 of the way with rice, sew it up and microwave for 3 minutes and instant heating pad or make a small pillow shape of flannel and fill with rice
you can make the fruit into your own home made preservers.

My Mom lived on a farm and said with eggs, all you have to do is crack them, they will let u know right away if they aren’t good. Eggs last much longer than due dates.

I gave today's DD extravaganza to a local family here in my town. Drove around a neighborhood and kept asking if people if they knew anyone who could use a bunch of free food. It is soO good to be surrounded by so much abundance that I can now give most of it away. Keeping a stash in the car is a great back up plan so you never have to cave and get food from a drive thru, excellent frugal tip. Also, like the tip about floating eggs are bad so will now bring home more and use that tip, thank you so much!

Amy, why are you so worried? The Supreme Court of the United States has said that once it is in the trash it is public. Unless, there are "NO TRESPASSING " signs, the dumpster is locked or it has a sign on it. It seems like Aldi's doesn't have those.

To the naysayers....how do they know their isn’t rats at their neighborhood grocer or McDonalds? They have had cases where rodents had peed on soda can tops in a warehouse and then sold. That and you and your family look healthy and happy.

Dogwoods are so beautiful and you got five of them! They do not grow fast though. Maybe they will gorgeous for the twins graduation. My lone dogwood is over 60 years old. They have such a graceful branching habit. Its my second favorite tree after a very tall, straight oak.

Also across the street from us we have a social services bldg that several grocery stores donate all their food that doesn’t sell. Even though aren’t rich, we go over an hour before they close on Friday and they give us so much.. if not it’s thrown away..I tell everyone in our neighborhood about it and STILL they have sooo much! Glad others in my neighborhood are finally getting some good food, & it’s not going in the trash! Hate this!
