You are a brave brave woman. Omgosh Amy I swear to pickles, the last time you guys got bread at Panera you held up the flat bread & I said to my son, that looks like tripe. I learned this little tip from the Dole plantation in Hawaii, when you cut the core out of your pineapple just like you did in 4 parts put them in the freezer then when you made your sorbet you can put one in the bowl but they're also just refreshing to suck on like popsicles when it's hot outside. I personally love the center & I love your tip about running the peel thru the juicer, I always thought it would be very bitter but I trust you. Stay kickass Ames

Dry a lot of the bread out and chop it fine in ur blender for bread crumbs for fried chicken. Add thyme or rosemary, oregano, or any herbs u like, some cayenne pepper, so much better than store bought bread crumbs. Then stick it in a container in the refrigerator. Great! U can master the thin sliced potatoes with all those potatoes this time. It’s fun to practice till urs comes out exactly like the recipe. I feeeze pineapples too for smoothies.

None the first year but one the second. After that, I don't know.
We did that in Hawaii just for fun and it took like six weeks for a decent size one and so sweet.

Yes, when Pumpernik's was still going the bagel's were thrown away everyday. I used to take what i could to a food rescuer and to my church on Wednsday night suppers. Plus, we had plenty, too.

You could use the sliced Italian bread for bruschetta...just toast the bread in a fry pan with a bit of olive oil first - YUM...and what about dumpster bread pudding!!! I'd love to see a video of all the dumpster bread creations!

You can grow plants out of the tops of the pineapples, just take away as much of the fruit part as possible so it doesn't rot and then plant it in a pot of dirt it will grow roots. I have one that is huge as a house plant.

We have a store here, that at the end of the night they fill up big bags with bread and bakery items, pies, cookies whatever is going to expire soon and sell it all for 4.44. That's how we get our breads and bakery items! They sell pretty fast by the next morning. They also have a clearance isle and sell all the dry food from anywhere .10 to .50. We bought boxes of cereal and Graham cracker for. 50! And the dairy they sell for .99! This store gets it, they understand not to waste

Hi frugal mommy you can make pineapple juicl from the skin by putting it in a big pot of water with some ginger let it boil for a.good while ans the cool , strain,sweeten and serve. Hope you get a chance to read this. Be blessed

The pinkish bread is a vegetable based bread that they use for their Mediterranean veggie sandwiches which are delish and delightful!!
