- Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Today we are doing a challenge involving gliders and catapults! Its like the game "H-O-R-S-E" where one person does a stunt sequence, and the others have to replicate it, and if they fail, they get a letter. If you spell out the word, you are out. In stead of HORSE, we are spelling GUD, as in GIT GUD!

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I love how they don’t take themselves seriously. They COULD have a fierce competition with everyone only wanting to win. But they instead have a fun time goofing off with gliders being launched of a catapult

I love how simple things in games become so much better when you have friends to do it with. We've seen scrapman do like all of this stuff before and it not be as funny or cool.
A lot of things are fun when played together.

I really liked this one. The stunting nature of the challenge was particularly interesting, since it wasn't just a fixed course so it wasn't as clear what you'd have to optimize and there was more strategy involved.
Honestly, I thought Kosmo was going to win this, since he had the only glider with yaw, but it seems like all three of you were close. I'm glad that going though the bridge played into the victory, though, since I recall scrapman having a lot of trouble with it in one episode.

Amazing content man, i have a suggestion as well. Do a plane that drops smaller planes and get Kan and Kozmo in on it, build a plane and they have to build off on how big your plane is, so this, i would say gives them to build the smallest gliders they can while you build your plane

I come back to this video every once in a while just to enjoy it again and I'm always so disappointed that the rounds that didn't impact the score didn't make it in. Still love the video, it's one of my favorites - just wish there was more of it to enjoy. Keep up the good work

This just gave me challenge for you. Make a Wingless glider that lasts for 30 seconds straight with no thrust.
The weight to lift needed is not that great.

You guys are pretty good at flying gliders... HOWEVER. For the next challenge, its going to be basically the same concept however you guys should try using cars(stunt cars if you didn't get it)

- no thrusters
- engines only
- you guys think of the rest :p

Did anyone else notice that Kosmo took damage on the soccer field bit if u look carefully a piece disappears after scrap man looks at his landing meaning scrapman would have won because the conditions were no damage which he achieved while kosmo didnt

Scrapman I have a fun suggestion... Do you remember the car that you used on best builds... The one where you are chasing 2 vehicles and you gotta destroy them... I just suggest if you make 2 vehicles, 1 is the runner and the other is the chaser then you play around the map... Its like police chase but the chaser has cannon on it... Love your vids

You should really do Trailmakers Tuesday like Multiplay Monday with Scrap Mechanic but it'll be every other week.

Trailer maker Tuesday with kan and cosmo. That’s a good idea to me

Do it again, do it again.
Some suggestions, don't need to do all of them rather pick and choose.
1) Must have wheels, one or two, for landing with no controls / brakes.
2) Build spoilers / air brakes (two fins that rotate 90 degrees in opposite directions should work).
3) Use detachable blocks and uniquely designed bombs / missiles (unpowered) for target accuracy competition.
4) Do twin (or triple if you can) catapult launches to land on a second catapult. If multiple people make it and do the second catapult together (first launch) it's a tie (no letters).
If they miss it, but manage to do the second catapult on its second launch, they get 1 letter.
Miss the second catapult completely and it's 2 letters.
5) Build self launching gliders (detachable like your formation planes video). Possible variation is all build gliders, then merge onto a single launcher vehicle body for simultaneous launch.
6) Use rainbow makers (at least one) for enhanced viewing.
7) Do a loop the loop through the same flaming loop.
8) Build parachutes. Vehicles that have no player controllable surfaces and no thrusters that can land safely without damage (logic controlled or pre-set controls allowed).
9) Allow one thrust device (of any sort, all must use the same), one weapon (again, all must use the same) all launch from catapults of close to the same height (or different heights with a points from other challenges giving the higher point to the leader) . Then dog fight.
10) Do the ALL CATAPULTS CHALLENGE.

Can’t you have a submarine challenge where everyone builder a sub and then fights? You can choose the rules you’re self.
You should play some games in that arena and use those machines way more.
