Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Multiplayer Trailmakers idea: What if you had to do carpet bombing on an objective. One person would build the bomber plane, and the other would build anti-air turrets. You would alternate turns like today's multiplayer Trailmakers, and whoever bombs closest to the objective without getting shot down wins. Change the rules however you would like to make it fair.

Suggested Rules:
Bomb must be un-powered, but can have fins. 2 bombs per plane.
Base Turret must use small cannons (x4 max), and be anchored to the ground.
The only thing I couldn't figure out was what the base would be. If anyone has an idea, reply back.

Or, for a fun twist, they could make a truck carrying "Precious Cargo" that the defending team needs to protect, as the target.

MM idea: someone makes a gatling gun and the others make planes. The planes have 1 gun to shoot eachother. The gatling gun tries to shoot down the planes and the last plane standing wins. You can do this in scrap mechanic or trailmakers

CHALLENGE SUGGESTION - Each player has to design a car that goes 200kph+ The cars however have a speed sensor that will activate 4 reverse thrusters and 4 gimble jets. if the speed goes over 170kph the reverse thrusters and gimbles are toggled on. When the bottom distance sensor exceeds 15 then the thrusters and gimbles are toggled off. You all have to race each other knowing that any excess speed will result in the player being lifted up into the air and boosted backwards for a short span of time.

Basically, this is kinda among us in SM
Rules:
- First, choose a player to be "Host" (you can switch hosts of you want to)
-The host does not participate in the rounds, as they know who the cheater is
- Then choose any normal 1v1v1v1 challenge, like a race or rock climb
- Normal rules apply for the race (e.x. no thrusters/glitches, engine limit, etc. )
- Each round, the host somehow randomly picks one player to be the "cheater" (e.x. a spinner)
- The rules do not apply for the cheater
- Once the host discreetly picks the cheater, everyone mutes and begins building
-The challenge goes along like normal
- 1st place gets 3 points, 2nd place gets 2 points, 3rd gets 1 point, 4th does not get any.
- After the round, everyone unmutes and votes who they think the cheater was.
-Whoever voted right steals a point from the cheater, and the cheater steals a point from whoever voted wrong.
- Repeat this as many times you want
- The player with the most points at the end wins
Possible rule modifications:
- Everyone has a basic cube that they have to incorperate into their vehicle (Stops people from building really thin, skimpy vehicles to make it clear they arent the cheater)
-If you can figure out how to make a computer to randomize and discreetly tell the cheater who they are then you eliminate the need for a host.

Do a challenge where there r two teams and then a person will need to build two vehicles one plane and one car then each round one team will be cars in ground and another team will be plane in sky the planes will drop bombs and then the cars need to surviveuntill the timer goes out ur wish how much time do u guys want and whoevers teams last the logest is the winner btw this is my suggestion and i know that i am not goin get picked up for the next trailmakers challenge . But if i could i would gretly apreciate and btw love ur guys vids :)
Multilayer Monday Trailmakers Idea: Madmax.
Two players will make an armored truck and two players will make 2 attacking vehicles.
Rules:
•No thrusters.
•The truck will go for 150 mph/kph.
•The attacking vehicles will go for 120 mph/kph.
•Attackers can only use cannons and blades.
•Defenders can only use homing missiles.
•The spawn point of both will be in the side of the map.
•The truck will have a 4 second head start.
•Objective is the other side of the map.
•The attackers can respawn and repair.
•The attackers and defenders can have 1 mechanism to kill each other or a support mechanism (a trick up your sleeves).
•Attacker wins if the truck is destroyed or disabled.
•Defenders wins if they got to the objective.

Suggestion (either in Trailmakers or MM): Do a race with explosives right below your seat and when you tip, you go rip (or rather boom)

Okay, I have an idea for ya. A race/battle where you all make a two seat car, one of you controls a gun platform and the other drives.
That would be a laugh!
I love watching him forget to turn off the keybinds for the dynamite and blow up twice.
Trailmakers among us: one of you (chosen randomly) has one or more minithrusters concealed in his creation. You race and in the end of the race you have to guess who it is. In the building process you have to leave a space for the minithruster in order to change between rounds.
You get one point for winning the race except if you are the "impostor" (the one with the minithruster/s) and you are the most voted, and you get one point as "crew" for voting the impostor off.
Scrapman and kAN trying to take Kosmo that first round after he jumped off looked like a Fast & Furious movie where Dom's dodging homing missiles.

Day 5 of the bunker-buster Idea. I think you guys should do a trailmakers multiplayer where You look for military stuff on the workshop, i.e.Bombers, Planes, Traps, Tanks, and attack cars, and you try to blow up the other teams "bunker" which is a little garage looking thing loaded with dynamite. Each team takes turns attacking or defending.

glider car race on a course with big air jumps, mid air over takes would be epic, but certain areas only are designated glide zones

Maybe you can use a parachute on top of a car Which is dropped by a aircraft in motion. So
Basically like they do in the military. Not only Does the car have to fall in a designated area but it also has to be able to drive away and into a finish line. All the while the aircraft tries to shoot the opponent car.This challenge can be done simultaneously or individually as a Timed run.

Multiplayer idea: triathlon. cars -> boats -> planes. To do teams you can have the passenger shooting a turret at the other team.

Dear Scrapman, I am really enjoying watching your videos. A game I think you might enjoy is subnautica. It is a fun game about building and exploration. Also an idea I have for your castle is to make guards with bot parts like the spines of the fake Hanks and the green boi heads.

Suggestion, everyone is in a race or battle, you can’t use the standard weapons though, you have to make your own weapons on your vehicle, anything goes. A dynamite launcher? Sure. A mine? Sure. A rocket booster that sticks to peoples vehicles and lifts them into the air? ANYTHING GOES
idea for multiplayer trailmakers: 1vs3 or 2vs2, a plane with small cannons that tries to chase down and destry a blinded truck with an explosive barrel (or the equivalent in dynamite) with a manned turret, you chose start and end points

Idea, 2 juggernaut tank, and 2 tiny bomber cars, which team lasts longest wins. The bond cars try to blow up the heavily armored tank, while the tanks shoot the cars to not blow them up.

I suggest making a Walker where each person controls a leg. (Two teams.) And race down the drag strip. (The one with a ramp)
do a battle where you fight while having to wallclimb, so you are pinned agaisnt the side of a wall and fighting like so he can see.

I have an idea for a different build process. I will use this video for an example. you have teams of two. You and kan, vs moonbo and kasmo. So, you and moonbo are tasked with building a plane. So you work together, while kan and kasmo make the car together, then you go into your original yes and both teams use the creations. This way the rounds/game is perfectly balanced and is only up to skill.

Suggestion: Battle quadcopters
I got an idea. Build a target like you did for the glider bomber competition, everyone builds a plane (only allowed 1 small cannon and dynamite), 3 attack in planes while the others defend in a turret (turret allowed 2 small and 2 large cannons).. even better build a huge box target and the turrets mount on top, that way the planes can attack from any direction.

race buggy thing has to complete a full 2 laps on a designated track while being chased by a large gunship c130 style, bonus point if the c130 has 3 seats and 3 separate "jobs"
It would be much easier if you reduced the amount of thrusters and added yaw,as it would allow you to "aim" much faster without having to roll then pitching
