I am a volunteer for the Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance here in California. I’ve been a general contractor for decades and I have to say this is the cleverest device I’ve come across. I’ve installed 200+ of these covering all sorts of building conditions and I’ve adapted to each and everyone.
To the commenter who said “ this is a terrible system “ is apparently unaware that the BACKSIDE of the metal bracket has an attached compressible foam gasket that entirely seals off the hole. The diameter of the gasket is 3”. In addition the center screw holding the metal Moen SecureMount bracket has a stainless steel washer under which a rubber gasket is placed so when the center screw is cinched down the washer completely seals the oblong mounting hole.
If when you drill the initial 1-1/4” you find a stud, you can dispense with the plastic mounting mechanism and attach just the metal plate to the stud with a stainless steel pan or round head #12 wood screw. Be sure to attach the stainless
steel washer AND rubber gasket to seal off the oblong mounting hole in the steel bracket.
One further note: do ONE hole at a time since it will allow more flexibility should your initial hole reveal unexpected conditions once you made the hole.

That's up to you If they say so and you die you die if you go cheap and you fall you die and they go haha If you do what they say and you fall and die then they'll tell me to upgrade mine and everybody else on the planet! 🤞🙏🛀 But anyway if you get off your dry wheelchair to the transfer board then you can get your feet in Now the good ones have a second board on the inside that he allows you mechanically by motor or a double step which folds up Now you're in the tub how you get out got to have a grab bar somewhere or you got to have a grab bar on the bathtub wall or rip the tub out and install a new shower with grab bars or buy one of those fancy ones you see on TV but be prepared to count up to 5000 or 8,000 US dollars now!!!💸💸☠️🇺🇸 If you wait too long fight inflation will increase that to who knows what but if you're young and handicapped do it right and then pass it on If you're old and handicap you know what to do Make it so you can get to your deathbed how many years is it that depends then when your heirs sell the house or move into the house that depends also Will the new people like it or they complete dreamers that think since they're 20 years old and live forever and ever or they come in and they need that equipment they got it at home but they're either downsizing or upsizing or sideway sizing??🛀🙏🤞😊 In any case if they want it they'll buy it they don't want it though shrimp on you If they really love it then you can get your money back!😂😮😊🙏 I'm saying to dear Lord God for it!
Meanwhile do not get suction cup handles Don't even bring them with you on vacation flat out tell him I've got to have handicap bath shower etc!
But if you do if you do if you do get a screw floor to ceiling fixture that disassembles it'll fit in your trunk your purse or have a semi tractor trailer file you around with it hah! Anyway that goes pressure to the floor pressure to the ceiling and if it spreads out the pressure great Now the ceiling looks like a"POS" THEN DON'T WRECK THE MOTEL HOTEL ETC AND HAVE THEM CHARGE YOU SIX TIMES AS MUCH TO FIX IT THAN A DAMAGE YOU DID RIGHT? SO IF NOT JUST TO STUDY YOURSELF WHY NOT OTHERWISE YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO BRING SOMETHING THAT A YOU CAN SIT ON IN THE TUB AND OUT OF THE TUB HAVE TO HIDE IT A TUB WALL YOU GET ON THAT LEG IS OVER ASS ON THE BATHTUB AND THEN IN A CHAIR IF YOU CAN DO THAT THEN FOLD THAT SHIT UP AND PUT IT AWAY IF IT LEAVES TO MARK THAT'S---> BUT THAT'LL ALSO WORK AT HOME IF YOU CAN GET FROM THE WHEELCHAIR I KNOW THIS SOUNDS RIDICULOUS TO THE FLOOR YOU'RE SAFE YOU CAN'T FALL OFF THE FLOOR RIGHT THEN IF YOU CAN BEND ARMPIT BATH WALL AND BATH BOTTOM TUMMY BATH WALL HAND BATH CHAIR BUT BATH WALL BUT THAT CHAIR FEET TO BATH FLOOR❤😂🎉
