Geoff demonstrates his affinity for playing tender ballads...here he renders the Hoagy Carmichael classic "Stardust' with a warmth and sensitivity that is extraordinary for a boy his age. Geoff is accompanied by our very own Plano (TX) Community Band, with Jim Carter conducting. And how proud we are to have collaborated with such a fine young talent as Geoff. We enjoyed having him here with us this past November.
That was flat out wonderful. No flash, no "Looky me, I'm a virtuoso," just a brilliantly tender rendition of an all-time great classic ballad. Geoffrey Gallante is truly blessed.
Today, just by sheer accident, I came across this amazing talent, playing one of my very favorite songs. He is definitely a child prodigy. He is absolutely amazing and awesome.
Me too. Yes, he is. You can tell it instantly..first two notes. The way he attacks a tune, the invention..It is all there.
Just beautiful ! ! ! I booked him on my Jazz show at the Platinum Grille in Philly, when he was 16. From prodigy to genius.
One in a million. Pure musical talent.
I was about twelve when I first learned to play Stardust. 53 years later, I still don't play it with as much class, ease and style as this.

Very nice! I like/love Geoff´s tone...very sympathetic! And it´s a good sound over all, the orchestra sound so good. Maturely played by Geoff, that`s so astonishing for me, how his soul can be like that in his age! What he got now he will have all his life and it will carry him well for the life he loves to live...a muscians life! God bless the child that got his own!

i k now meg...his mom and i send emails back and forth on occasion..and i think this young man has so so much talent..i absolutely adore him and wish him nothing but the very best...maybe one day..i will have the chance to get to see him play..he has a wonderful future ahead of him..god bless him and his family..

Geoff is an exellent trumpet player ! Luca Stangl is also an exellent musician , he's 13 years old from Austria and sings and plays the accordion , he has had a CZcams channel for 4 years ! Check it out Luca Stangl .

The young lad has a beautiful sound and will surely get better if he just keeps practicing. I was good like that when I was his age then it went to my head ... . I hope he has people that keep his head on straight and keep him focused. A little too much cutsy pie nonsense with the hats.
