Goes without saying but wear eye protection when dealing with stranded armoured cable (10:56). Seen it where a single strand is missed when cutting the armour and it's almost invisible head on - until it's embedded in your face.
It is fantastic to see how Reuben is progressing, a true credit to himself and such a great mentor with Cory! I'd love to see a colab or podcast video with Cory / Reuben and Nick / Adam. And hey, why not throw in Chris / James as well.

I usually just use the width of on wrap round of electrical tape for the steel wire

Why do people have a charge point on an outside wall when they have a garage?
Nice job only thing i would pull is the armoured going through the wall the way that is fitted water could run into the building always try and go horizontal or slightly inclined if possible , newer properties often have blown insulation some types retain the water for months creating damp issues
They clearly drilled the hole at a slight incline to avoid issues you described.
