The funniest part of the highlights is that Dimitrov works hard as hell to finish each point well, earn his points, and taking the lead. And in the next segment we see Medvedev, like jumping 5 games ahead😂
According to these highlights, Dimitrov won 6-0 6-0 6-0. Medvedev gained a lot of fans that night; may want to give him some respect. If flash and athleticism won tournaments, Monfils would have fifteen Majors under his belt by now.
dimitrov just plays a much more flashy style of tennis than medvedev. most of med's won points are off errors from dimitrov. not saying he's a bad player, he's clearly great, but he's not very entertaining
its a highlight video. i don't understand medvedev fans wanting people to include 10 minutes of dimitrov hitting unforced errors. Don't get me wrong, those unforced errors are for sure a product of medvedev's skill as a defensive player, but those points don't belong in a highlight video. if you want to appreciate medvedev, watch the actual match, because a highlight video just isn't something that's designed to showcase medvedev's strengths as a player.
I have just recently become a fan of Medvedev's game. Nothing flashy, but he is the guy that you don't want to see on the other side of the net if your legs are feeling a little iffy.
Everyone complaining abt the highlights but u realize dimitrov was the one hitting winners and missing, so obviously there are gonna be more winners. Med just sits back and tracks everything down
for the people who keeps commenting why is there only Dimitrov highlights, wtf u talking about? look at the first 5 points in this vid, Grigor lost all of them lol. Also, highlights mean good points and good shots, dimitrov had a lot in this match, but he also hit a lot of errors thats why Daniil won this match.
I'm more of a dimi fan and understand that he hits flashier shots, but damn, the bias is so obvious that everyone noticed. 15 8, 18:8, and 13:2 were the winning point ratios by set. Keep in mind that they include 2 set points and a match point.
BEAUTIFUL AND NICE GAME............. BOTH PLAYERS IS STAMINA FULL, STRONG FULL, ENERGY FULL, PRACTICE FULL AND POWERFUL............... BUT WINER IS WONDERFUL .............
dimitrov has moments of weak mental strength, but he is wayy more fun to watch. Better style and form and shot selection everything. maybe not as flat and fast gstrokes. medvedev is very talented but just like nole boring to watch

Huge grigor fan, and not at all a Medvedev fan but cmon now, these highlights are something else. Looks like a clinic from Dimitrov but he got smacked in the match
Dimitrov didn’t disrupt Med’s game at all. He was mixing up his own game sure, but Med is a defensive/offensive base liner. Coming to the net, moving forward, or moving him from side to side is exactly what he wants, he has the answer for all of it. But drop shotting, moving him forward and backwards? That’s how you beat him. He ALWAYS looked uncomfortable moving forward unless it was an easy volley, and he is tall so executing a strong drop shot every now and then will be effective.
Dimitrov doesn't have a strong serve. This is the difference between him and the greats. The greats like Lendl, Sampras, and even Federer got a lot of free points from service aces. Look at these highlights, you see very few aces hit by him. By contrast, Medvedev has a strong serve, and you can see he got some free points.
i actually don’t know how you beat medvedev the guy practically doesn’t make any errors. and grigor was not even playing medvedev’s game, he was switching it up coming to the net a lot trying to disrupt meds rhythm but still lost. maybe kyrgios and roger are the only ones who know lol aside from rafa of course
I think Kyrgios has the best strategy against him. Trying to outrally Medvedev is basically a lost cause (other than for Nadal). Instead, hit excessive dropshots to try to force Medvedev to come to the net, where he is not nearly as dominant.
He is a wall or pong. He doesn't miss and has weapons. Deadly combination plus the guy is a monster. Wolf like, lean, rangy but incredible stamina and strength.
@@user-ds1zt6oc2l Define "better" player. Than whom? @@sidhanthmishra8488 Well, then, there's nothing to argue about. What you just said describes a better player. He just hits the ball statistically better than most. Which put him on the 4th position. That's it.
Simple and true answer to all of the comments 'why there are way more Dimitrov highlight' : Because Dimitrov made 85 % percent of the creative shots in this game. He was building the points and Daniil was defending and returning the ball back. How would the highlights look with mistake after mistake from Dimitrov (because actually Medvedev's points were patiently expected mistakes coming from Dimitrov). Of course this does not excuse Grigor who was inconsistent in the important moments.
A pure demonstration of consistency from medvedev vs skills from dimitrov. Dimitrov has very good footwork and timing with his shots, but his reliance to hit everything perfect is his biggest downfall, you can see if he doesn’t plant his foot in time or if his doesn’t have a perfect swing motion then he makes unforced errors. Medvedev is the total opposite, very sloppy foot work but with big top spin he just need to get the ball over
