  • Our aim is to deliver cars that are fun to drive, sustainable, and on par with the highest safety standards. This includes four main aspects: Ergonomic and safe vehicle operation, active safety measures that support the driver, pre-crash functions that return the vehicle to safety, and passive safety measures to reduce the harm to occupants and pedestrians in case of an accident.
Mazda’s i-Activsense safety systems are our contribution towards a safe, accident-free individual mobility - and many of them are included as standard in our production cars.
From traffic alert systems to brake or lane assist technology and smart LED matrix headlights, each Mazda car is helping you stay safe on the road - no matter the driving conditions.

I'm thinking about buying the CX-5 and this video helped me decide on selecting it from its competitors. The safety software is the reason that I'm buying a new car, and Mazda's "old school" vehicle construction appeals to me.

Cx5 will not fail you, i had 2 new cx5’s in a row, perfect cars. Now due to my usage case and fiscal inner workings of NL, cx60 phev makes more sense so ordered that car

Thank you for this video. My previous car was a MX-5 SE which I bought new, and was "killed" by a hit-and-run driver. The car was totaled, but I didn't even get a scratch - thanks to the built-in quality of the car. I am picking up my (used) Mazda 3 in a week, and am amazed at all this technology that has been developed since I bought my MX-5. Watching the videos, including this one, feels like watching "science fiction" to me. I never even considered how much Mazda has improved. How such a wonderful car can be sold for such a reasonable price is something I don't yet understand. Congratulations, on all your new technology - and the Mazda 3 still looks "beautiful" too!

I have a cx-30 2024. Beautiful car but there is only one problem, you cannot silence speed warnings, i mean you can with the button on the left of the wheel but then you’ll silence every safety alert, i think the fact you cant just silent the speed warning is crazy and doesnt make sense

I wish I could upgrade my Mazda 3 with some of these features. In some Latin-American countries we are not able to buy the "top-of-the-line" car, so we can't enjoy those safety measures. 😞

Zis is very impressive, but hard to listen.
Mazda is improving and they create one of the nicest looking affordable cars.

Got my new CX5 a few days ago. I’m up to page 45 out of 600 in the manual. I prefer the good old days when a car was a car, not a complex brain bender. But it seems like a good car once I turn off all the tech 😂

Just leave the tech on, you will only notice it when it saves you one day.

I have to say the CX5 is a great car, I had one 3 years ago and I've bought another last month for the wife to drive. It's a great solidly built car with a feel of quality. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the latest cx60, I also bought one for myself, top of the range 3.3l inline 6 with all the options. It's a bag of crap, rattles, noises, bumps, uncomfortable ride, technology that interferes with the driving experience and technology that simply doesn't work. I would give the CX60 a wide birth as it's build quality is shocking compared to a CX5.
