This doesn't work properly. I clicked on "connect to wifi" and then I keep getting "speaker lost connection" when my phone is inches away from the speaker.
I found a fix that may work for you guys. Start the Update while the speaker is low on battery. Let it die. Then plug it up . The update should resume from its previous percentage. It took me hitting retry a whole bunch of times but eventually it worked. It’s a very nice ui. But we all know the plethora of problems it has.

+Ulitmate Ears why make us pay so much for the Megablast and it cant pair this is a standard now, I have the blast and would love to pair smh very good speaker but fall short please please work on an update in the app to solve this major flaw

I have the megablast but when I ask Alexa for flash briefing she goes with NHK which is in Japanese and the Ultimate ears app which is what it had me download to set up the Megablast. does not have a way to change it to something in English.
I wish i never bought this speaker it is a POS, my UE Boom 2 was perfect. The internet connectivity just ruins everything and whats worse if a friend wants to play music through their phone and Spotify it doesn't work. i have this connected to my PC and it will not let me pause anything i am watching it forces it to keep playing even after I press pause.
If you got second hand then no you won’t get it plus I think they stopped doing it because there was a glitch where you could get unlimited free music by keep on making a new account

i live in the cayman islands i was really excited when i got a ue blast with a charging dock this november, a friend from the states brought it down for me.i have no issues with it when it comes to music streaming but i'm very dissapointed at how it stutters a lot when i'm using it as a bluetooth speaker... i would not recommend this product at all.

do a factory reset by holding volume down and power button for 6 seconds and reinstall the app to delete the cache and that should allow you to pick a different account on setup.
Ru Bens I have the blast and before I connected it to Alexa , it allowed me to play music on it ! So if you don’t want Alexa you don’t have to connect it’s a personal choice ...
This speaker is shit I’ve had mine for not even 1 year and used it regularly and it’s broken, no drops or anything it just broke and I charged the speaker overnight and that’s how it didn’t turn on so I tried resetting and restarting it and nothing worked. Shit speaker 2/10 the sound wasn’t as good it’s bass was pretty shit even when using the app
