Gpu or a chipset most likely. The fact that it turned off makes me think psu, but ps4's might turn off when there is a failure with the things i listed above.
i have the same issue, sent it to sony 2 weeks ago and i just got it back today, they didnt fix it however the seals are gone now and the report they sent me says product service (exchange or repair) not authorized on the report there is a list of 12 reasons for reject they mark (OTHER) reason so i contact them right away and the person on the chat told me that they reject it because (insect damage) im 4 weeks away from my warranty expiration and the (insect damage) doesnt make any sense to me, first of all they didnt mark that on the report even when there is a option called (insect damage) and also because i had a ps3 since day 1 and never had a problem... at this point i think i just going to quit gaming, but you do the math and take best call... good luck with your console............
i dont understand.. whats the point in 'upgrading' when you get a shit ton of problems with the console.. my ps3 never had network problems and was only slow because its 5 years old, this ps4 is 1month old and it turns off itself as soon you turn it on now AND i have to pay fucking 40quid a year for playstation plus which is useless because u get it free on ps3.
WOW what the hell u do 4 it to act like that? My PS4 turned itself off while I was playing BO3 4 times and It said I dident turn it of Properly I am Worried I will have to restore my PS4 again.

i fix one of those by reballing APU..
it's a broken ball under that chip.
When I turn my PlayStation on it does something similar but instead of it glitching it will just make the glitching sound and turn off

When i got my first one did that to me there is no fix thank god they gave me a new one
You can fix it bye pressing the power button for 6 seconds which will turn it on in safe mode then go from there
