What I like about Magpul products, is they do work, and they dont break the bank. The company does not shit on other companies/products either, they actually even mentions other good stuff.

I SO wish you guys would team up with Kinetic Development Group to make a version of your bi-pod that uses their Kinect QD system. Right now, I have your Picatinny bi-pod mounted onto KDG's 3-slot Kinect QD rail to make a really slick and sturdy bi-pod with a QD on an M-lok rail, as there seems to be no other way to have a QD bi-pod on an M-lok system. If the Kinect QD was integrated into the mounting hub, it could be a lot lower profile.

I'll have to check out that moe as i want no tilt, pan, and a low height. make it direct mount to mlok and you'll have a real seller.

That light weight setup would be perfect if it would pan. A person doesn't really need tilt because it's ya already going to do that but pan is a must

Various leg open positions like Atlas or KAC would be nice.

Great information. For better quality videos in the future, I would suggest you drop the lapel mic and use a tabletop mic instead. The lapel mic is picking up everything going on in your throat and it's distracting to hear you breathing and swallowing during the presentation. A tabletop mic will just pick up your voice.

So what bipod setup do you recommend for a 16" AR shooting out to 700y? The build is lighter weight, and i want the ability to quickly put it on and take it off, and tilt it. Pan not important.

      Atlas

*Not* a Magpul one. I like their products but these bipods are a miss.

I run a direct mount one to mlok on my 16in SPR build. I wish I went with a more qd option. But I like how light the setup is. And when loaded up like he says, you don't notice the flex. Super quick to deploy, and when not deployed, I can rest the rifle on the legs to shoot over barricades and not worry about touching the barrel or my supressor to things.

By far the worst bipods I've ever bought. You absolutely can not load up on these cheap pieces of polymer and for sure can not completely lock out the movement like this guy claims.

I own Atlas, Harris, and Magpul bipod across a dozen rifles. I actually prefer the Magpul ones the most. Light weight and easy to actuate. My Atlas is built like a tank but not as user friendly.

Lol polymer is for weight savings and affordability.
Just like how ARs have many different types of attachments and mounting options, the same principle applies with bipods.
If you want precision for comps, yeah, you’re not gonna use Magpul bipods.
However, if you’re going predator hunting with hiking involved. These aren’t so bad for the application.

There are some really terrible bipods out there, even at the $100 price point. I picked up one recently (which I’ll refrain from naming) with unfinished surfaces and nasty burrs, gritty leg action, and the legs don’t spring out equal distances. Inexcusably bad. I’m getting the Magpul to replace it.
