Decus Extinctum guess so, i have trouble invading and co-oping in DS1 on PC, not so much in DS2 Scholar
Paladin Leeroy Well i guess it depends, currently there's like 4k people in DkS1 and almost 6k in Scholar according to community Hub XD Problem is DkS1 appears less crowded due to Hollow-state being a save haven for people to not get invaded as well as killing the Boss of the area protecting you while the only protection you have in DkS2 is burning a Human Effigy XD
So yah the PvP in DkS2 is a lot more easily made since there's only Human Effigy Effects to protect from Player-Invasions while Hollow-state in DkS1 doesn't bring any negative effects apart from looking a bit undead and not being able to summon Phantoms.
+Abysswalker not really DS1 only sees 1k less people daily then SOTFS does. DS1 gets 3k at peak and SOTFS gets 4k on PC.
