For some reason this made me imagine if Dark Souls had Bard Buikls with musical spells cast by instruments, scaling with 2 stats like Hexes, one being new like WITS or something. Could effect item discovery or something so it has other uses idk yet still letting my brain ponder this pointless hypothetical- and the other stat could be DEX for string instruments because finger deterity. or that hypothetical new WITS- plus STR for percussive maybe. Stamina for wind instruments- idk lmao 🤣

@@Sundude05nobody is talking about ds1 and both PTD and DS:R are nothing more than ports with almost no changes whatsoever. Sotfs was an actual remaster that changed and fixed a lot, the point still stands that a remake is possible.

U can get extra copies of lightning spear from Licia of Lindelt, if you keep her alive to the point that you open the shrine of winter door with 3 out of the 4 great souls embraced ( the door to drangleic castle) , or with 1 million soul memory on ur first playthrough, the sorcerer merchant will also sell unlimited copies of his spells.
The Happy Souls "LIGHTNING!" build (+tears of denial) was the only method that helped me to complete the deathless run on ng+15 and finally have all the items on my first character.
Just found your channel recently - very cool to see a DS2 focused content creator! This is the souls game I've spent the least time with, so it's very interesting to see someone so well-versed in the game make it dance like you do. Keep up the great vids!
I played DS2 for a bit before it became too annoying and I quit. Then, I marathoned a bunch of your videos and took the time to learn more about the game and even go back to it! I've gotten so much further, and this video alone is convincing me that my next run will definitely be a miracle run. it's decent at best but it's definitely the worst game that fromsoft have created. compared to any of the games fromsoft made this game falls really behind.

Ngl this is a satisfying gameplay, seeing somebody else who knows alot about ds2, I think I have over 1000 hours now after recently beating it again.
Engraved Gauntlets work with spells, miracles and hexes. It would have been fun to use with Heavenly Thunder since it has so many hits in such a short time. Also, Splitting Lighting Spear is very good if there is a clump of enemies in the distance. It does not hit the same enemy twice but it hits all the enemies once in that clump. So it does what it says, it is like you are throwing 5 Lightning Spears and once. I agree that damage could be a bit higher tho.
Almost feels like a precursor to ancient lightning strikes from Elden ring tbh which could be where they got inspiration for it

They are vulnerable to lightning. Lightning damage has been nerfed to dirt, but he knows what he's doing
Here's how to optomize your pyro dmg. Lost sinner's cuffs, blue dagger in off hand, fire clutch ring, Black Witch Domino Mask,dark pyro glove (go hollow), red tear stone ring, king's ring

The disc chime itself is insane as a main-hand weapon...the lightning damage it does while infused out-damages so many actual faith weapons really fast. Its only really held back by the bad shield moveset lol great video! \[T]/

Back on that DS2 grind and just found your channel. Amazing content and someone who shares my love for Faith builds. Crazy how much work you need to do now though with SotFS locking a lot of stuff behind NG+ or Covenants but still this is such a fun game.

Just the viable build variety alone makes DS2 my favourite in the series, I love how you can just use pretty much everything the game hs and have success if done correctly. I wish Miracles and pther forms of magic were at least a bit better in ds3. But awesome vid man, hyped for the hex and sorcery ones, maybe even a pyro?

They were definitely OP in Vanilla lol. They've since been hard nerfed, but still do great damage. Super sad for both miracles and sorcery builds.

this is an amazing video and it does always surprise me how good miracles can still be despite how butchered they got in casts and damage
NOW SUREm Najka taking only 150+ damage from a GLS, with a +4 dragon chime, at 50 faith... yeah that still hurt to see but i mean if could add things in here as weapon options
for a pure faith build, any basic weapon is amazing when given a boltstone. my personal favorite was the mace, but the heide sword wasn't far behind because of the stats needed to just hold it. longsword, dagger, shortsword, axes... if it took less than 15 points i built it and my cleric used it, it was good
Try out majestic greatsword it has the best moveset in the game in my opinion and is artorias sword which already makes it the best weapon in the game it’s my favorite weapon and probably the most fun to use try it out. And make sure to use it in left hand for the special moveset and extra damage,also I think you have to press the parry button to use the the unique attacks but am not sure, keep up the great work!

I thought it was only Hex, Dex, and Str, the builds that do good dps, but after watching this, I'll definitely try a Faith build.
Only found your channel like 2 days ago and i am really liking what you do, and wanted to request a weapon and tell you a tech. For weapon, how about bone fist from Ivory DLC? You get a super unique moveset with it and it gives you an out on making a seperate vid for Vanquisher seal cause you could use that until you get bone fist. And for the tech, if you use a bright bug and quit out after getting the wet condition, you get an infinite brightbug that lasts until you warp or quit out. Can help with bright bug conservation. And, the Mask of Pharos that you can find after Cool Ranch Smelter gives you a wet condition whenever you put it on.
bro if you gonna try a poison build you should really try the black scorpion stinger with power stance. i was trying to pure melee poison build and it really worked well, it has a good amount of physical and poison damage. it is a really underrated weapon in my opinion.(i wear the sanctum soldier gaunlets and crest of the rat ring too for extra poison damage)

U should try the blacksteel katana powerstance build. I think it would be interesting how much damage u could do with them.
I always use a bonfire ascetic on skeleton lords for int/ faith builds, such a good ring and pretty easy/early to get.
Thank you for still pumping out Dark Souls content. There's just something about Dark Souls, for me, that Elden Ring is lacking

In the ruin sentinel fight the splintering lightning spear was blocked it is mainly meant for pvp because it can trick people and it has a large aoe (p.s I love your videos)

I love this game!
One other extremely minor buff you could’ve added in here just for raw damage is the Bell Helm. It boosts the power of all chime-casted magic by a slight amount, but with the numbers you were tossing out it definitely would’ve been noticeable.
I guess if you ever revisit miracles you have another toy to mess around with.
I suggest you using the seppuku, even tho u get it a little bit late and u need to prepare urself good, but trust me that i have used it: it is so damn fun and rewarding.
[it breaks pretty fast and upgrades with dragon bone tho)
