Dude I been ramper for 4 years the worst part about this job is dealing with the weather and sometimes the bags can be a pain in the ass because some ppl have to pack the closet in there bags 🙄
But I love it now and couldn't imagine doing anything else it's easy flexible and has its perks!

@@Mn-xx9hv let's put it this way its about having the confidence to work around a very busy and possibly dangerous environment. Aircraft as wonderful as they are can seriously damage or ruin your day . Its about working as a team and having eyes in the back of your head . No day is the same either on the ground or in the air . But I had some good times and met many amazing people.

ya forgot managers can be a pain the back side.. when you are short staffed and they still demand on time departures, then act all stupid why it left late!! Ya can not turn a fully loaded 757 (all four bins stuffed) in fifty five minutes with 3 people! Or normally we had four turn arounds with 9 people, We were turning ANC and SEA on the corners, with 2 DC-9's in the middle gates just for fun.. something is not leaving on time! them toss in fity below winters (MSP), or torentual sideways rains, your are cold, wet and hungry, and something always hurts. boots full of water, your and your but is soaked thru...
Physically demanding is an understatement! its more like getting your but handed to you most days!!!
12 Years I was down there, with 5 as a ramp chief.. Northwest MSP and LAX.. finished my career with delta ..
but damn, I still miss it, and would go back in a hot minute, but its a young mans game! It was the Best job I ever had!!!

Just go any airlines website and search for careers. Just look for your nearest airport to you!

Thanks for posting to the general public our authorized only secured area where we all work. In todays world, videos like this have no business being posted on social media.

I’ve seen women lifting bags & even towing planes. They must have ‘balls’ to do the job.

Nzingha Pearson if they don’t mind getting their hands dirty and lifting some pretty heavy bags than they shouldn’t have a problem lol
