- Four women with a really strong resemblance found out there was a reason. They were two sets of sisters. Twins Kristelle Harrington and Rachelle Dyer along with Lisa Vann and Shannon Nicoll shared their story on Good Morning America. Three of the women live in Virginia Beach. The other lives near Seattle.
Just read on google, the two ladies on the left are twins who were given up for adoption. The two on the right came a couple years later and their mother kept them, the 2 ladies in the middle became co workers and kept being told they look alike. Family members took DNA tests and it was revealed they were all sisters
Thanks for information!
@@kathynorvell2061 UK: very helpful, thx!
Thank you for the clarity - it was quite hard to follow!👍😇
the two on the left are the only ones that look alike to me. I would never guess the others were related.
@@queenkami7856 I agree, I was surprised to read that coworkers thought the 2 in the middle were sisters. Maybe in real life their mannerisms are very similar???
I was adopted as a baby. I recently did Ancestry and long story short I found my Bio Mom and found out I have two half sisters....I've wanted sisters my whole life and to find out I actually have 2 is a bit surreal. Its a little bittersweet that I didn't get to grow up knowing them, but I'm going to meet them all in two weeks and I'm nervous and really excited too!
Jen , that is so wonderful !!!! Hope all goes well
I wish you the best
Happened to me. So weird and joyful. Makes you feel whole or something. Amazing to look like people. I hope it went well.
Seeing this comment now being two weeks old, I think... Are you maybe with them now? :)
How did it go?!
Anyone else feel totally lost during this entire dialog? They were talking as if we all knew their story. Without any background info, we could only guess.
The two on the left are twins who are older and were given up for adoption by the mother out in Seattle. They said they had a wonderful childhood and a great family. The mother moved to Virginia and had the two sisters on the right, who were raised by the mother and were never told about the older twins. One twin moved to Virginia and she had a friend who knew one of the sisters and said they looked alike. At some point they met, which wasn't explained.
It’s all good
I can figure it out
They’re just excited 🙂
@@Jibbie49 Thanks for the rest of the story!
Yeah, disappointed in Michael's interview skills.
@@Jibbie49 Thanks--now I get it. Amazing story.
I’m adopted and on Ancestry and last year I received a message from someone who is a DNA match with me and it said “we’re close family members”. Neither one of us had ever seen that before and the person asked me how we could be related which I didn’t know. Long story short, she’s my sister! I now have three sisters and a brother and my birth mother is still alive!
Hi Catherin how are you doing?
John Patrick
Do I know you?
God Bless you!
What a blessing! God speed to you and your newfound family❤
I’m adopted and did the ancestry thing and it shoes a person who could be my brother but he did not give any jnfo or a way to contact him. I have searched for 50 years for my biological father to no avail. This possible brother is the closest I’ve come but is a dead end.
I’m very happy for you both. What an amazing story…
These ladies have the same vibes. They’re truly sisters.
They seem like they have known each other all their lives. They are all so connected and in sync with each other.
Hi Pollyanna

Their laughter is so contagious I was laughing because they were laughing.
We adopted two siblings and they did their DNA last year and found that they have 6 half siblings on their birth mothers side. It has been such a blessing to have found them all!❤
How wonderful that you made such an effort to connect the sibs- really great
Couldn’t they have told us the story of how they found one another, as well as how they were split up?
Agreed....I was waiting to hear how they were split up, why this was, etc.
My thought exactly!
@@holiday-td6hx The two on the left are twins, who the mother gave up for adoption in Seattle and then she apparently, moved across country to Virginia where she had the two on the right who grew up as sisters with the mother. They were never told about her having had the twins. He doesn't bother to explain how they found out about each other than to say they had mutual friends, who said they looked alike.
Exactly!
I was thinking the same thing
Micheal looks overwhelmed by the conversation 😂🤣 all speaking around one time 😂🤣 cute story
I was adopted out as a baby and when I turned 18 years old I found out I have two half sisters and two half brothers from my birth mum so that was a lovely surprise 😊 This was a beautiful story and it is good that they get along so well.
There are so many serendipities in this story! They were meant to find each other ❤
I met a sister I didn't know I had; she was a carbon copy of my mother. When my brothers saw her picture, they all thought it was their mom! She did get to meet our mom and dad, but sadly 5 months later, we lost both parents. However, we gained a sister! 🙂
sorry for your loss hope the reunion helped u get through it ❤️
The sister with the short hair don’t look like the other sisters
@@justnyla2780they all have the same eye frame. They most definitely look alike
I found 12, 1/2 siblings, my birth father and mother. It's so insane. It made me love myself.

It's a confusing story but the joy and love is so evident. They are giddy and excited to have found each other. Michael is so natural and seems really connected to them and their story. Sometimes the host seems very distant and it looks forced. He's truly happy for them! I think this was a great piece! I love that the twins took the time to point out their adopted family and how wonderful they are as well. Happy for this reunion and as they said, their mom may not be physically with them but she is absolutely with them just the same!
Hi Nancy
Ues!!!😊
I have no use for that man . . .
It is confusing not a real understanding of how they met, but i love the story....
I was given up for adoption as a newborn and was adopted at 3 months old by an amazing set of parents ! They always told my older brother who was also adopted the truth when we were young. 26 years ago I got the courage to ask if they had an information about my
biological family. Within 2 days I had my grandfather's name and a week later I was talking to my birth father. 2 weeks later I was invited to visit my aunt, little do I know I was meeting the majority of my family. I had 2 older brothers and 2 younger half sisters. It was a very emotional day for sure my birth parents and a brother have passed away. One of my sisters is one of my best friends and we talk all of the time. She lives 2 hours away so we don't get to see each other ad often as we would like both that just makes the times we are together that much more special! The search was definitely worth it for sure!
What a beautiful story. I am so happy that they found each other. You can see how strong their bond is.
It is the weirdest, most wonderful experience to meet a sibling you haven’t grown up with, someone who at the same time is a total stranger and yet a blood relation.
I'm so confused and touched at the same time 😃
The two on the left are twins born first and given up for adoption to a wonderful couple. The mother moved across country and had the two sisters on the right and raised them. One twin moved to Virginia and met someone who knew one sister and said "You look alike." They met and had a DNA. The sisters didn't know about the twins.
@@Jibbie49 - how nice of you to post and repost the background so many times....
You should hear my story. I’m adopted. I took a DNA test. I now have six half sisters and three half brothers. None of them knew. It’s been very fun
I want to take the test. My Papa was a rolling stone, so who knows how many siblings I might have out there. 🙄
Glad u found ur family
You only have 3 whole sisters. If you put two of your half sisters together it becomes a whole. You do that three times you have three whole sisters lol 😄

Michael is just going to go with it...they are still pretty excited about finding each other.
They need to write a book!!
I would love to see an update segment! Siblings can be everything! This is Beautiful!
2 years ago an ancestry test uncovered a sister my mother never told anyone about. Life is good!

Too bad society had so many parents keeping secrets.

Wow! What a story! This touches me deeply. Michael is an exceptional host. He's all heart. ❤
This is beautiful to see them all together.
This made me cry !!! Its an amazing story !!! ❤
They have such a good attitude about what could be an upsetting situation.
I must have missed how they came to realize they were related then met each other.
The story was missing pertinent information and poorly told.
The two younger sisters on the right didn't know the mother gave the two older twin sisters on the left up for adoption out in Seattle. The younger sisters were raised by the mother in Virginia and the twins had a wonderful loving family in Seattle. One twin moved to Virginia where she happened to meet a person who knew one of the sisters and she said "You look like her." The adopted twin thought she might have relatives, but had never bothered to look, so she met the sister.
The first part of this segment is missing, if you search for other videos the details will be there 😊
Robin C or like any person with common sense, there’s clearly another portion of the interview that isn’t here.
“WOW”. Beautiful Story 💗💗💗💗
I never knew my biological father. I had a name but even with the advent of the internet I still couldn’t find any information. My mother said my father never knew about me and she had no idea where he lived after they broke up. In February I submitted my DNA to Ancestry and found a nephew who put me in touch with a sister. I now have six sisters and one brother. I will be meeting them for the first time in July. They have welcomed me with open arms and we are all very excited!
Good luck! You'll have to provide a follow up.
@@slvrangel22 I will Thank you.
@@slvrangel22So I finally met five of my siblings. There are 6 sisters and one brother. One of my sisters had passed away a few years ago which I knew about before meeting them. I got to meet my brother as well as 4 sisters. I have one sister who lives further away and because of health issues she could not travel and I couldn’t travel to her at this time because of time and money issues. I hope to visit her in the next couple of years. Everything was as I had always dreamed it would be. It was as if we had known each other all our lives. One sister is coming to stay with me in September and I hope others will come in the near future. It was the best!
My sister was adopted from Korea as a baby from the Holt Adoption group. She is 63 now and I recently told her she should do a dna test to see if she has relatives even possibly her birth mother out there. I don't know if she will, but time is running out.
Oh doom and gloom, why is time running out?
I love this! There’s so many sad stories. It’s so refreshing to see something so happy! Love that they were all able to connect! ❤

At 2:49 Michael is totally lost in the giggling. 🤣
It really looks like they knew each other a long time.ago and not only three weeks before. It is funny how they talk and finish each others comments etc. And it was meant to be. They definitely were meant to meet ,from the comments they said about having friends in common and then liking their sisters pictures on Facebook not knowing who she actually was etc.
Lovely. Glad their adoptive stories were good loving ones too. ❤
Wow. It must be nice to have such supportive family.

What an awesome story. So many are being connected today because of modern technology that it makes my heart tejoice to see the joy and excitement and love on these 4 sisters faces. Always enjoy your interviews, Michael.
It’s not always happy and wholesome like this. There is a darker side to the technology and finding out family secrets can def make someone go through a dark time. Trust me.
I saw this story with just the twins meeting! Wow amazing.

Wow, what a story you have! Have you made any moves to meet any of them?
Time goes too fast. If you haven’t looked into finding them yet you should. You might be surprised. I found seven siblings with one being gone before I got the chance to meet her. The others are thrilled and we’re meeting in July.

I wish they included the story we're missing in the description because it is hard to make up the story from this interview.
The “background” story has been posted over and over in the comments.... Just read through them and you’ll find the info....
It's an incredible feeling finding your birth family❤️ I've met all my siblings but one younger half brother and he doesn't wish to meet or know me and I'm okay with that. Sadly, he blames me for our father leaving his mother. Life is strange and wonderful! Be the light and share the love! Peace! ❤️✌️
I’m sorry for your brother. Hopefully he will come around some day and realize you had nothing to do with it. I was born in 1970 and have known from a young age that the wonderful man I called my father wasn’t my father. When my mother finally gave me my biological father’s name it was in the early 1990’s and because she didn’t know where he was I had no way of finding him. I worried for years that his wife didn’t know he had had an affair and I would end up upsetting her and any siblings I might have. I’m so glad I found out who he was and my story has a sweet ending. My siblings have told me that their mother knew of his affairs and so there could be more half siblings. Sadly, one of my six sisters passed away last year so I won’t get to meet her but my sisters and my brother seem to be welcoming and we cannot wait to meet each other.
How Wonderful!!!!’❤❤❤❤❤❤😊Gorgeous Sisters!
I'm lost. I couldn't make heads or tails of how, why or when they found each other. Obviously there's more to this story. I just wished this video had given more background on how these women came to know that they were related, especially since they live across the country from each other....
The two on the left are adopted twins (they said they had a wonderful childhood) in Seattle. The mother then moved to Virginia where later she had the two sisters on the right that she raised and never told about the twins. One adult twin moved to Virginia and a mutual friend said "You look like a woman I know." They met and had a DNA, as I understood.
@@Jibbie49 Thank you! That makes sense....
They probably only showed a short clip of the interview.
The two on the right were kept by their mother, the two in the left (twins) were given up for adoption together. Apparently they crossed paths with each other several times and finally did DNA testing.
@@pkmcnett5649How could the biological mother keep one set of twins and not the other?

This is what family should be like!
I lost track of everything as soon as they started going on about someone's wedding and second wedding and....
But it doesn't matter what I don't understand; it's wonderful for all of them to have found each other, and that they're all happy and excited to be together as a family.
I’m so confused!? I can feel the love tho!❤️
The two on the left are twins that the mother gave up for adoption in Seattle, then moved across the country to Virginia where she later had the two sisters on the right, who never knew anything about the twins. The twins said they had a wonderful childhood and great parents so they had no interest in looking for their biological parents. One twin moved to Virginia and a co-worker said "You look like a woman I know." They met and then had a DNA showing they are sisters.
I'm happy for them. We found relatives with more in common than we can imagine (even same religion) during the pandemic, which was a lifesaver for me. I enjoyed their story, but I wish they wouldn't have interrupted each other and the host. I wasn't really able to grasp everything hat was said. So common in these short segments that don't dedicate enough time to these interviews. Why the rush?
The funny thing is they all seem to be in sync with one another. They all nid at the same time. There is an obvious connection there. How cool is that! Wish mom had been there to see this. ❤

@@annamarielewis7078 I bet my sister is worse 😆she a narcissist big time.
I have 2 sisters, who I love so much. I am the youngest of 3. I currently have decided to go no contact with both my mom and sisters, I am 37. I come from a family that is toxic. Lots of gossiping, abuse, triangulations, cruelty, individuals with no empathy. These behaviors have left me devastated and so lonely. Having sisters has not been a good experience for me. Having sisters has been a life long battle of survival both physically and emotionally. It's been a life long battle of sheer torment and betrayals. It's left me brokenhearted and at times it's been unbearably painful/weary.
Sounds like a great story…someone should interview them & get the fascinating details 🤔
Crazy. In a good way. Enjoy. Never let each other go. I see sister vacations in the future.
