I am an identical twin who was invited to their wedding in Twinsburg during the annual festival. It was our first year to the festival! The wedding was magical. I've yet to meet the twins in person, but hope to someday.
Hopefully they'll be at this year's festival. They both have baby boys now. I'm looking forward to this year's festival, maybe I can find twins closer to our age 😅

Years ago, I met identical twin sisters. Each one was carrying a small baby who also looked like twins. Confused, I asked them to explain. Turns out, they were twins who had babies by twins on the SAME DAY, just down the hall from each other. So both of their children basically have the same birthday and DNA! That are kinda twins, but not really. It’s probably the wildest thing I’ve ever encountered.
So those babies are technically called quarterly twins. That's a real thing😅
My childhood neighbor was a twin - she married a twin - their twin siblings married each other. If they were alive they would be 98 years old.
There were identical twins married to identical twins in my neighborhood growing up and they also lived together. That was 70 years ago.

A reality show would be wonderful for them, and I think their living arrangements are perfect. They have their best friends, siblings, business partners, and the people they trust the most all under the same massive roof, which is a blessing. I think it's very safe and supportive, especially for the children.
If they weren't twins this probably wouldn't work too well, but both being twins is the advantage.

Interesting about the babies. They are genetic brothers, but are cousins. Someone needs to write all this down for future DNA seekers. Time goes by fast, and all this will be forgot in the next couple generations. It is so interesting how the DNA shows them as brothers. I'd love to hear more about that.
I had heard that before that if Identical Twins married another set of Identical Twins that they would be siblings and cousins.
It's pretty simple. Identical twins share the same DNA. There are slight differences in epigenetic DNA which increases over time. That is the environmental impact that your surroundings and lifestyle have on your DNA. It also explains why identical twins look more like each other when they are young and less like each other as they age.
Moving along, if you are an identical twin who shares 100% of your DNA with your twin and you marry identical twin brothers who also share 100% of their DNA with each other your children are genetic siblings even if they are social cousins.

I am an identical triplet and that would be even more rare to pair up with identical triplet guys. One of my sisters and I are already married so that won’t be happening but definitely something I was like hmm I wonder if that happened! I do like having our differences though.

4 income household wow. Saved a bunch on the double wedding too! For them it must be normal to some extent having known nothing else. Twins are the closest thing to a clone we can legally have in this day and age so it's pretty interesting, I never realized that they were mirror opposites so when they look in the mirror, they are actually seeing what the other brother looks like.

Way back in my family tree 3 brothers from one family married 3 sisters from another family. Lots of double cousins. The whole thing is confusing to me.
Mary-Kate and Ashley lived together during thier college years but after that they went their separate ways and got separated houses. Same with Tia and Tamera. Most adult twins live separately.
These twins are unique in their marriages.
Mary Kate and Ashley are fraternal twins who just happen to look alike. Look it up.

Honestly I don't find this to be weird at all. I don't have a twin so I'll never understand, but I believe it is such a unique bond that no one else can understand. Twins need eachother and marrying a spouse without a twin might not understand the need their spouse has to be near their twin. This makes total sense to me. I can only hypothesize, but if I had an identical twin and had to pick between saving them or my spouse - I would pick my twin. That's not a replaceable role in someones life

I met identical twin women married to brothers. Their husbands just favored a bit like brothers. They married a couple of years apart. Of course, the first couple matched made with the twin and the brother.
So can the sibling get mad if there spouse got in wrong bed...same crib next too it and baby inside look exactly the same....
I honestly think they need to live apart. What I do find disturbing is the kids say they have two dads and two moms… I have identical twins grandsons and I love the fact that my daughter in law and son give them their own individuality. This is what happens when parents do not think of them as independent individuals
