I was like 14/15 at the time this show aired and it was seriously not miss TV for me. I loved it because I never saw anything like it on TV. A hip show about cops? That was amazing and totally ahead of it's time when you look at police procedurals now.

I thought this was handled in such a classy way. The husband wasn't shamed, the wife was validated. Im in a very similar situation and i know my spouse would not respond well if he felt belittled in any way. Gamers usually have many reasons they turn to gaming: it's go-to entertainment and a coping mechanism..I feel like its important they feel heard in addition to hearing the other partner's struggles and viewpoint.

I'm going to re-watch New York Under Cover again. I was in junior highschool when this show came out, I know I missed some episodes because I had to do my homework or was on punishment lol. Back in those days, when you missed a weekly episode you had to wait till next week or catch a re-run to catch up lol those were the days ❤
