Thank you so much for the privilege of seeing the film I'm in the USA and I didn't think I would get to see it. I found Holly's story after learning of a young girl in Tennessee and her battle with CF. My heart was so touched that I've been trying to learn more.
Holly is a beautiful young woman. It is my hope and prayer that she does brilliantly with her new lungs and has a great big beautiful life to enjoy.
Lynn D I agree, she definitely deserves it...❤❤
I have been following Holly's and Emma's story for a while. So this just awesome.
I've followed you on utube for many years. I love a story with a happy ending.
We share a birthday only I'm exactly 20 years older. I'm so happy you got your lung transplant!
i am a med student and someday i hope to help people the way doctors did for Holly or even better
Greetings, fellow neuronerd *peace sign*. What's your speciality?
Angelica O.H That's an amazing carer choice and I hope you do....you will be an amazing Dr. ❤
I'm in tears! I am so happy you had your transplant! xx
Its just amazing to me that we've reached the point as a species where we can open a person up, get through their ribcage which protects their vital organs, and then replace their lungs with someone else's.
Emily, this is great. Having heard about it from you, I was delighted to be given the opportunity to view it. What a lovely story of this young girl's fight to have a better life. Brilliant stuff.
I'm so glad to hear you've had your transplant Holly, I've been waiting for your next video to see how you were.. Seems like you've had a bloody tough time. Glad it's all looking up now!! :D I don't know what I'd want to do if I have to have new lungs :/ xx
Thx for sharing yr sad, but lovely story. I wish you a happy and healthy future:-)
You are an amazing young woman and such an inspiration to us all! I am so sorry for your beautiful friend ❤ I hope and pray you are still doing well...sending you a huge hug gorgeous girl...I hope you do everything you want to do! Thank you so much for sharing your story of strength, hope and courage doll...xo
Aww bless u my friend also passed away in 2013 her new lungs only lasted her 2 years though
I had a friend with this condition, at the time she was a child under Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital U.K. She was waiting for a heart & lung transplant, because they apparently like to have matching heart. She was called in and had the transplant which was a very long operation, her heart was then donated to a younger boy. She knew, however that eventually these new lungs would give out like her own lungs, turning to wet tissue but it bought her a few years.
Dear people never be scared of what journey you are on I can only tell you that there is no death it does not exist and your friend you passed away she would have passed to the other world why do I know this because I die too 32 years ago I had a near death experience I seen and I went to the other world that's right the land of spirit it is just like this world but 10 times better thank you for listening from Steve Hensman psychic clairvoyant medium
I've been following Holly's story for awhile. Is she still with us?
How is Holly doing now?
Stanford hospital as all do, they discourage close association due to cross contamination.
I thought her name was hallie
why isnt organ donation mandatory? It baffles me.
Mainly due to the fact that humans are individuals, free to make their own choices about their own bodies, not property of the state. What makes you think that the government can just harvest a dead person's organs from them with no consent?
Sometimes I wish I could trade places with these people just to let them have a better life, I feel like I could fight the disease of I know that's strange to say but Yeah
