No Two Stand Up Comedy Shows I Do Are The Same. Watch These Two & See

- Some major comedy nerds have come up to me recently and said that I am no other comedian because my shows are never the same. And they had seen me multiple times. They had the Bob Zany punch cards to prove it.
So I looked into it by taking a couple of videos from recent sets I did headlining the Laugh Factory in The Tropicana in Las Vegas. There are a couple of jokes that overlap, but the nerds were right. The shows are almost completely different. Yet both were funny and fun.
Let me be clear - This is NOT a comedy special. There are no edits. This is the raw footage from 2 different shows at the same venue. For a special, they would have bells, whistles and slick editing. If a joke bombs, you'll see it in this (Spoiler alert: there are no stinkers here).
This is why you go to live comedy shows, folks. Especially mine, BAY-BEE!! You are going to have a great time, and you never know what is going to happen.

My punch card looks like a slice of Swiss cheese. You could watch him a week straight and no two shows are ever the same. Amazing skills interacting with the audience and such quick whit.

Bob, I used to work at your room in Oxnard in the early 90’s. You were so nice to me when I worked for you or saw you at the improv on melrose. I left stand up years ago but you are still KILLING it. You were one class act I will always remember. Thanks!

You gotta remember to stay on mic so the whole audience hears the exchange Bob, or you're sending dead air. As impressive as your little side banter with the audience is, if everyone dont hear whats said, you just look like you're goofing off on my time. Nice persona and look but make a little fun of your own appearance, breaks the ice and a good premise to start with...very confident though, I like that.
You gotta remember to remember that not everything should be perfectly tailored to fit your expectations. Try to remember that going forward in life. Actually don't. The misery and mediocrity you experience as a result of not doing so will be it's own reward.

He had a clip on mic. If you watch the video, he figured out it was initially off and turned it on after a while.
