Hi sam, i just talked with my friend about the Cross And i kind of want to ask your opinion on this At first simply share the video Jordan Peterson about he saying that pick up the cross is the biggest adventure of life Then this friend mine (a christian much more longer than me, used to serving in church too etc) She said that she didnt like to associate the cross with suffering and her idea of seeing Christianity is by thankfulness and gratitude And i say to her, cross is what we need to carry is we want to get reward later And she find that salvation is so easy if someone only lucky to repent and able to go to heaven, and i told her that salvation is gift, we cant earn it by dead works, and when we carry the cross is when we will get the reward And from her i detect so many influences of islam, hindu etc, she keep mention about islamic people testimonies of go to hell, or the level of hells and reincarnations I told her to be careful with it, but she keep dont find my advise useful Maybe because i dont go to church as diligent as she do, yet i dont say i neglect my Christian study plus i do was convert by miracle which i witness myself My question to you is how your opinion if a christian reject the idea of carrying the cross?
