I SUPPOSE it can mean ruler or source. But the first definition of all the sources that I looked up said it means beginning or origin. What you STILL need to explain is the “of God”. According to you there’s only two possible explanations, 1) ‘Jesus is the source OF GOD?’ Or 2) ‘Jesus is the ruler of God.’ These don’t make any sense whatsoever. You choose not to look at any other meaning of the word arkē because it blows your trinitarian belief out of the water, which would then leave you floundering…

The Word is creation and Jesus is the Word. God(The Father) spoke, and Jesus was born. Creation is the beginning and Jesus was there in the beginning. Jesus died on the cross and inherited from the Father Judgment. The Messiah became King of all and will be there until the end.
This is why the alpha and omega line is in Revelation and nowhere else.
