- These two cards combos go together like peanut butter and jelly or Starsky and Hutch. Powerful , game breaking and sometimes dirty, they've left an impact on the game and I choose my top 10.

Harpie Dancer+Divine Wind of Mist Valley= Blaze Fenix FTK
Maybe not the most relevant two card combo to the meta but the sheer amount of advantage and FTK potential of this combo is amazing. These two cards let you summon nearly 30 monsters in one turn as well o_O
Future Fusion + DAD
Step 1: Activate Future Fusion
Step 2: Reveal Chimeratech Fortress
Step 3: Send 1 Cyber Dragon, 3 Jinzos and 3 Jinzo Returners to the grave
Step 4: Special Summon 3 Jinzos
Step 5: Special Summon DAD
(24x3)+28= 100
Machina gadgets were way more consistent with the future fusion jinzo play. Albeit the combo required a wild card machine monster or any gadget and machina fortress in hand to OTK, but the deck actually had a consistent engine, and OTK'd with only 2 jinzo and 2 jinzo returners in the deck.

Prisma+Test Tiger. Defined 12 months of gameplay, with two cards, one of which was searchable by 3-4 different cards in the deck.
Crush card was so OP, GBs used to run Sanwitch in their extra decks just so they can dump sangan with prisma, reborn it, and crush card it.
Cyber Stein + Metamorphosis with 11000 LP after you momongas made the work, so good and for this day, The Monarchs Stormforth + Batteryman Charger; sooo good and if you add it Trap Stun And Short Circuit its the coolest OTK of some time ago in this game.

Good list but I would've expected Confiscation + Delinquent Duo to go on there. Those could easily boot the Dustshoot/Mind Crush duo off.
I personally think Light Pulsar and RedMD is a pretty great combo because if you have both on board and your opponent blows both up up you'll just get them back the following turn.

Although these card combos don't have much effectiveness, they're still powerful today as they were back then. Gozen Match+DNA Transplant and Rivalry of Warlords+DNA Surgery. These cards are pretty much instant lock because then your opponent will almost have nothing to fight back with if they're not lucky. What I love about the latter combo is that it works well with Cyber Dragons (fuel for Fortress). Also these cards will pretty much be the death of Majespecters if used without fear.
chaous dragon also worked with sangen as well. Soul Release combined with dimension Fusion was one of my favorite as a quick easy way to flood the board with massive power especially since dimension fusion allowed your opponent to special summon if they could and didn't require them to be able to special summon like a lot of oppenents I played against tried to argue when I would use it.
Those two Wind-Up's "dual"-handedly made me hate any deck that has mostly monsters with matching names in it...forever! (if Glad Beasts and Lightsworns didn't do that already)

Molten Conduction Field and Rekindling is a pretty amazing 2 card combo.
Gem-Knight Fusion + Brilliant Fusion
(Okay, it's true that you're also gonna need a Gem-Knight or two in hand to smash an OTK, but with 6 cards in hand and playing Gem-Knights you're almost certainly gonna have them.)
In a Blue Eyes Deck, I would say Beacon of White + Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon or Neo Blue Eyes. It may take some set-up, but I can see this combo winning a few duels.

Armageddon Knight + Instant Fusion. These two used to be able to start an endless loop of summons that ended in a Sophia. Until Lavalval Chain got banned that is.

Powerful if it goes off, but easily prevented. Lots of these combos he listed were so old and powerful and you didn't have practical eff negation to prevent them so they trump mew and her jelly friend. Although i do agree shit gets real if termasu resolves.
sirenbassist7854 It doesn't have to be first turn. The fact that it's a 2-card combo means you have 3 or 4 other cards to protect it (Trap Stun, Forbidden Lance, etc.), and Chateau or Ticket can just re-add any destroyed cards.

This format you'll be lucky if you can keep a monster alive for 1 turn, even with protective backrow. Castel, 101, PWWB, Shaddoll Dragon/Squamata etc.
Fay Miku I never said it had to be one turn one, but its a given lance and other protective cards will be involved. The combo is easily played around cause it is very linear. Once you have seen it you have seen them all.

Blackwing Gofu the Vague Shadow + Armageddon Knight.The combo result was a field of 2 decent beatsticks and 4 cards drawn.(Assuming you didn't draw any cards to extend your combo.)
Macro cosmos and vanity's emptiness. if that doesn't make the opponent quit in an instant, nothing will.
Cold Wave + Rescue Cat not being on here is shocking tbf. Since it literally moulded multiple formats.

Ultimate offering + any gadget = throw out as many rank 4s as possible.
Ultimate offering + Magileine = 2x tiaramisu plus enough damage to otk.
Mew + Anjelly = a tiaramisu plus at the end you still have the mew+anjelly to repeat next turn.
...also if we were to talk about format defining one-two punch combos, kageki+kagemusha was the two card play of the format when shien wasnt limited (and even when it was) while samurais were at their prime

I used one of these before it got shut down, every-time i pulled the Future Fusion, Overload fusion combo on my friends they just quit because they knew it was game over... but one i like that is still available is lonefire blossom and gigaplant

Breaker, the Magical Warrior + Apprentice Magician
Tsukuyomi + Mof in Goats was probably most broken.
I feel Magician/Shark should've been higher (magician/shark? game), but I guess nostalgia won over it. Tbh just look at those old combos, damn and we think some neweer decks are broken :P
Curse of anubis + tragedy works too, for effect monsters c.o.a. turns the to defense and tragedy destroys all defensive monsters, clears opponents field :-)

Cyber stein + limiter removal
Neptabyss, can bring down even the strongest fields + win in that one turn. Chanbara + Limiter Removal does 8600 damage to the opponent if he has no monsters or backrow to defend himself.
Last Strix/One For One + RUM Skip Force/ RUM Astral Force into Satellite Falcon into Ultimate Falcon
Another one would be Last Strix into Ultimate Falcon into No.77
Last Strix, a level 1, normal summonable monster, can go into a 4000ATK beater with no cost aside from ur opponent taking no damage for the rest of the turn

Michael Wilson Another good combo is if ur opponent uses anything that would drop all his Rank 4's remaining XYZ Material, chain Revolution Force, then icarus attack to pop two of his other XYZ/Spell or Trap/ monsters over level 7, then on your turn activate Soul Shave Force for an Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon. Another option is to just soul shave a dead blaze falcon, or again, pop it yourself with Icarus Attack
Yeah the future fusion overload fusion combo is one of the main reason's why Future fusion is band still people that and number 8 oh boy ran into it A LOT

Magician/Shark was waaaaaaaaaay better than Altair/Deneb. Creating 1 XYZ is so much more inferior to making 3 XYZ's(or more) that would still allow you to attack(potentially OTK) and, at the time, Shock Lock your opponent.
Hell, imagine full power Wind-ups now(especially with the existence of Soul Charge)...
Alex Dominguez Seriously, the deck could still be tier 1 easy. It's weird how people complain about certain broken decks in the meta, but they fail to recall how much more broken older decks were. I'd like to believe the power creep is not as drastic as people think it is. Yata-lock would still wreck even to this day if it was a deck.
