This week, we're treading dangerously close to controversial territory as, for the first time, Binging falls on an open-secret holiday. Just wanted to say that I recently tried this recipe (minus the oregano) and even though I completely destroyed my sister's kitchen over the course of three days, what came out on the other end was one of the best things I have ever made in my life. So, thank you to everyone on the Babish team that brought this recipe to us.
Honestly, the Oregano would've made it taste a bit more funky than other cakes, but after about 30 minutes after eating nothing you eat will taste bad 😅

I’ve never seen this show, but that is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing cake I’ve ever seen.
This is the fanciest and most subtle way to make an "oregano" cake I've ever seen.

Yeah, this reminds me of when one of my friends gave me some fresh oregano! I took it home and used it for dinner, the food tasted really dry that night and I don't remember alot aftarwards. I will never trust my friend with seasoning choosing again😁👌

I got a little confused about this, shouldn't you heat up the green ingredients in order for the err magical ingredients to decarboxylate so it actually has an effect on you?

When I was in college, I created a treat called "Shut Up, Stoner."
It is nothing more than peanut butter with some honey and pumpkin pie spice as a filling to a small tortilla. The herb causes dry mouth, so the peanut butter acts as a natural glue to keep their mouths shut. That and the peanut butter is filling so they stop griping about being hungry all the time.
Just hand a few off to one and say "shut up, stoner."
Andrew: "Now this guy is ready to get BAKED hehehehe..."

@@adrianmendoza8139 Well If you get it grinded for you there kinda is a resemblance. Not that I would recommend that in any way.
Small tip: line the entremet ring with either parchment paper or acetate before putting in the cake and cremeux, that way you can just pop the whole frozen thing out super easy without worrying about accidentally melting anything.
Since i discovered your channel im starting to develop an interest for cooking im glad your channel exists.

This is legitimately the most beautiful thing you've ever made. That beautiful cake encased in mousse and covered in a beautiful galaxy glaze. I would definitely be tempted to eat the whole thing... even though it would be a disaster if I did.
